I delivered the Reporter on a bicycle back in 1984 in the Elm Elementary neighborhood. I remember missing a couple of homes since I was still learning my route and people complaining about me. I was 13 years old. My dad was not happy with me about that.
I worked at the Vacaville Reporter early in my career, and believe that that the passion and standards have followed me through my career and life. Thank you, Richard!
My hometown paper. My Mom and uncle went to school with Richard and I babysat his sons. When my grandfather, Jose L Codina, who donated the property for Willis Jepson school Richard wrote very nice comments. His sons liked hot dogs with ketchup and tabasco wrapped in corn tortillas---I still fix them now and then.

No overstatement here, it truly is a great newspaper.
