She needs good CG. If Marvel skimps on Silver Surfer's CG, it'll be MODOK all over again.
You realize there wasn't anything actually poor or wrong about the CGI for MODOK, right?

It looked no different than his actual eye, because it was his actual eye, but idiots pretend it's bad CGI.

Also, cost-wise, there won't need to be nearly as much put into Silver Surfer as with MODOK.
An inclusion of a dark filter, or Silver Surfer never being in direct sunlight or office lights, then the effort put into CG will be minimal.
... because it's essentially just making a person all chrome, like the T1000 Terminator.
