If you look back through the series, Hurcule was the one who won vs cell and boo. He threw the android head at cell that inspired Gohan. He created a "good boo" by being a friend. If he wasn't in the series, the world would have ended at the cell games.

Piccolo never used that cause growing your size is kind of useless. It's good for intimidation, but without a power boost from it, it's worthless. It's not like the Oozaru transformation where Vegeta got 10 times stronger. Picoolo only grows in size.

I just really like the threat of the Red Ribbon Army was very minor since Hedo and the Gammas weren't really bad and the main army and Magenta were pushovers so it was a brilliant way to give Piccolo and Gohan the chance to really go out and getting crazy powerful forms help too. I really like Piccolo's since he was always one i figured would get one being an alien like the Saiyans, and he even busted out his giant form! You love to see old moves used after so long! 🤩
the previous Super movies have some good fights and all, but I enjoyed the story here so much more...undecided on the animation, but I'll happily watch another Piccolo and Pan -centric movie

It always bothered me that Gohan keeps falling into this cycle of getting rusty, having to relearn the meaning of how since he has the greatest potential he has a responsibility to maximize it to protect those he loves…. Until I watched a video where someone discussed Gohan’s mindset and , like a PTSD case. Gohan is a gentle soul, someone who genuinely loves life and wants nothing more than peace/harmony. He often forgets that when evil comes around, it won’t step down from someone being nice and trying to talk things out.
Yup and I think in the same video its discussed how whenever Gohan was fighting, it was always followed by people dying, hence the PTSD case with him. It makes sense I mean every time he's fought people he cared for died for example with raditz, goku died, with vegeta and nappa, most of the z fighters died, with Frieza most Namekians and Krillin died, with the Androids and Cell, Goku died along with a bunch of civilians, and finally with Buu Civilians and most of his friends died including his mother and his girl videl. Like Gohan went through it fr so I'm sure homie doesn't like fighting unless he really has to.
The reason Gohan now acts like this is meant to be a contrast of future Gohan. Showing that he now can be a weak Saiyan, instead of forced to fight and getting caught off guard like future Gohan did.
That just the most stupid thing I ever heard. With ptsd like that he would be more paranoid about life literally most his life almost new super deadly threat keeps appearing. While he is a gentle soul him just forgetting the fact he literally almost died and beating within an inch of his life he would end up the opposite. And that would be interesting and make gohan stronger character in both physical sense and literally sense as constant training for paranoia brings him to heights that doesn’t keep him in this meaningless cycle but also means he gross even better learning better to be with his family, his friends, coping and actually being able to live a life with perfect balance of power, relationships and work that gohan can absolutely do. But no again and again they make him worthless, he sits around and doesn’t seem to do anything even. When comes to his own daughter he seems to slack and that’s just embarrassing. Of course he has a rough life dealing with need for work, training and so on but gohan isn’t stupid, he knows his things, he can plan and live better than anyone and not like he has to work or push himself to this coffee drinking keyboard warrior. Like it’s a thing that makes sense but gohan lost and realized this since fucken cell perma killed android 16. He exploded and fully lost himself and that should have been main turning point. But no they stopped it three times with gohan so weak he couldn’t go super saiyan even though he and goku could sleep in super saiyan since mid cell saga, then he got so weak he had to get his ultimate form in tournament of power. Now he is so weak he needed motivation and anger to get him super saiyan and ultra form again. It’s beyond stupid and lazy that provides nothing the third time around as he should be the SOUL PERSON TO UNDERSTAND THIS CONCEPT. Hell his first time seeing this power goku fucken died. Next time nappa killed most the z fighters, they go to namek and so many innocents and vegeta are killed right in front of him, he is beaten so bad his neck was broken by the ginyu force, after that specifically trained for the androids and even saw frieza return before then, even after androids showed up even bigger threat came out of nowhere with cell, then cell jrs. Then majin buu which killed basically everyone twice even killed him, and after all that he just forgets? No thats grade A brain dead nonsense

Oh my god, if Dr. Hero joins capsule corp as a robotics specialist.. Then he could potentially upgrade android 17 and 18 to make them more on par with modern enemies. And the fact that piccolo has a new form that boost him a few tiers, we get the power AND battle wits that he offers again. Basically bringing some of the best fighters back into commission. I can’t wait to see how they utilize them going forward!
I remember seeing a video where someone deep dove into Orange Piccolo on a more meaningful way. That after Dende upgraded Shenron, he became Dende’s dragon. Where as Shenron before, it was still technically the same dragon balls kami had made, and Kami was of course part of Piccolo old and new. After Kami merged with Piccolo to become whole, that was stage 1, the potential awakened was stage 2. And his orange piccolo transformation is the final stage. Cause we see Shenron is forming the tree that appears on Piccolo’s back. In a sence Piccolo gained eternal powers. But this is what someone else has said, not me

Technically, the Androids in DBZ are more akin to Cuborgs since Androids are humanoid robots that can have living parts here and there like the brain of a human, unlike full machines Robots are. I think Android 16 was an actual Android since i believe it was a replica of Gero's son he lost and had some organs to function better than a robot. 17 and 18, and even the Gammas were built with robotic parts or, mainly in the Gamma's cases, genetically made with cyborg enhancements. The world of modifications with robotics is fascinating.
Small correction but 17 and 18 werent built. They were modified. They were humans that Gero kidnapped and modified to be what they are now. Hence why 17 and 18 have biological kids

A robot is completely mechanical inside and out... an android is a robot with human parts i,e it might look like a human instead of looking like a machine (like the terminator for example) and a Cyborg is a human with robot parts (like Jax from mortal kombats arms)

It always bothered me that Gohan keeps falling into this cycle of getting rusty, having to relearn the meaning of how since he has the greatest potential he has a responsibility to maximize it to protect those he loves…. Until I watched a video where someone discussed Gohan’s mindset and , like a PTSD case. Gohan is a gentle soul, someone who genuinely loves life and wants nothing more than peace/harmony. He often forgets that when evil comes around, it won’t step down from someone being nice and trying to talk things out.
Yup and I think in the same video its discussed how whenever Gohan was fighting, it was always followed by people dying, hence the PTSD case with him. It makes sense I mean every time he's fought people he cared for died for example with raditz, goku died, with vegeta and nappa, most of the z fighters died, with Frieza most Namekians and Krillin died, with the Androids and Cell, Goku died along with a bunch of civilians, and finally with Buu Civilians and most of his friends died including his mother and his girl videl. Like Gohan went through it fr so I'm sure homie doesn't like fighting unless he really has to.
The reason Gohan now acts like this is meant to be a contrast of future Gohan. Showing that he now can be a weak Saiyan, instead of forced to fight and getting caught off guard like future Gohan did.
That just the most stupid thing I ever heard. With ptsd like that he would be more paranoid about life literally most his life almost new super deadly threat keeps appearing. While he is a gentle soul him just forgetting the fact he literally almost died and beating within an inch of his life he would end up the opposite. And that would be interesting and make gohan stronger character in both physical sense and literally sense as constant training for paranoia brings him to heights that doesn’t keep him in this meaningless cycle but also means he gross even better learning better to be with his family, his friends, coping and actually being able to live a life with perfect balance of power, relationships and work that gohan can absolutely do. But no again and again they make him worthless, he sits around and doesn’t seem to do anything even. When comes to his own daughter he seems to slack and that’s just embarrassing. Of course he has a rough life dealing with need for work, training and so on but gohan isn’t stupid, he knows his things, he can plan and live better than anyone and not like he has to work or push himself to this coffee drinking keyboard warrior. Like it’s a thing that makes sense but gohan lost and realized this since fucken cell perma killed android 16. He exploded and fully lost himself and that should have been main turning point. But no they stopped it three times with gohan so weak he couldn’t go super saiyan even though he and goku could sleep in super saiyan since mid cell saga, then he got so weak he had to get his ultimate form in tournament of power. Now he is so weak he needed motivation and anger to get him super saiyan and ultra form again. It’s beyond stupid and lazy that provides nothing the third time around as he should be the SOUL PERSON TO UNDERSTAND THIS CONCEPT. Hell his first time seeing this power goku fucken died. Next time nappa killed most the z fighters, they go to namek and so many innocents and vegeta are killed right in front of him, he is beaten so bad his neck was broken by the ginyu force, after that specifically trained for the androids and even saw frieza return before then, even after androids showed up even bigger threat came out of nowhere with cell, then cell jrs. Then majin buu which killed basically everyone twice even killed him, and after all that he just forgets? No thats grade A brain dead nonsense

The official writer specifically called the form 'Gohan Beast' so that's pretty much it's confirmed name... unless if they decide to change it for some reason cus I think the name is probably one of the best we've gotten out of this series.

Oh my god, if Dr. Hero joins capsule corp as a robotics specialist.. Then he could potentially upgrade android 17 and 18 to make them more on par with modern enemies. And the fact that piccolo has a new form that boost him a few tiers, we get the power AND battle wits that he offers again. Basically bringing some of the best fighters back into commission. I can’t wait to see how they utilize them going forward!

I remember seeing a video where someone deep dove into Orange Piccolo on a more meaningful way. That after Dende upgraded Shenron, he became Dende’s dragon. Where as Shenron before, it was still technically the same dragon balls kami had made, and Kami was of course part of Piccolo old and new. After Kami merged with Piccolo to become whole, that was stage 1, the potential awakened was stage 2. And his orange piccolo transformation is the final stage. Cause we see Shenron is forming the tree that appears on Piccolo’s back. In a sence Piccolo gained eternal powers. But this is what someone else has said, not me

Technically, the Androids in DBZ are more akin to Cuborgs since Androids are humanoid robots that can have living parts here and there like the brain of a human, unlike full machines Robots are. I think Android 16 was an actual Android since i believe it was a replica of Gero's son he lost and had some organs to function better than a robot. 17 and 18, and even the Gammas were built with robotic parts or, mainly in the Gamma's cases, genetically made with cyborg enhancements.
The world of modifications with robotics is fascinating.
Small correction but 17 and 18 werent built. They were modified. They were humans that Gero kidnapped and modified to be what they are now. Hence why 17 and 18 have biological kids

No. Judging that this movie is meant to take place right after the Moro arc, and not the Granolah arc, they wouldn't be the strongest forms. Also Cell Max was never stated to be stronger than Broly, js had the potential. Gohan is definitely top 5, piccolo is in like top 7-8
