Take care
Thanks for testing in 130 km/h. Sick of everyone else testing slow speeds
seems pretty good. makes you wonder why other manufacturers aren't more efficient at 120km/h. can't believe MG spent loads of money on nth degree efficiency but still managed to slap together something pretty good. not great/not awesome - but for the price pretty good.
Thanks for video, it's very usefull👏
I have it, and i love it😍
Doing the maths again that is about 2.5miles per kWh. In the UK the motorway speed limit is 70mph (113km/h) so lower than the speed on your test which may explain why I usually get around 3 - 3.4 miles per kWh on the motorway in warm weather. I did get 2.2 mi/kWh (about 28kWh/100km) in colder weather once and am just looking at why it was so low for an upcoming video. I have the same issue with the cruise control. I usually set it to 71mph (actual speed 69mph) but then get anything from 69mph to 73mph (actual speed 67 to 71mph). When it hits 73mph the sat nav usually starts telling me that the speed limit is 70mph and unless I switch off the cruise control to lower my speed it would keep telling me until the cruise control sorted itself out.
My goodness, I think Chris has a soft spot for the MG.
Good video. Range test at top speed, please.
Car is already gone.
First bar - 9%
2nd - 7th bar - 11% each
8th bar - 25% and light comes on
Flashing light around 10%
I am still getting used to it.
Good system ;)
@@BatteryLife I bought the OBDLink MX+ reader and CarScanner app, recommended by Bjorn Nyland. At least gives access to state of charge, though I think needs some calibration. Got home on an unusually cold night here in Sydney recently, down to a nervous 9.9%, plugged in and found it was actually at 7%. But as the most affordable EV available in Australia, I am really enjoying the ZSEV, and living the EV experience instead of just watching. Thanks for your content, I enjoy your approach to covering the world of EVs.
👍👍⭐!
turn your regen down to 1 as it seems to put less resistance on highway speeds,
cruise control does not use regen in this car and at those speeds you rarely slow down.
@@BatteryLife it still adds a resistance, i found if you watch the power side of the tacho and it doesnt need to be as high to maintain the speed
Could it be that the cruise control sets the speed as the lower limit but since the car doesn't use regen to break, then when it's slightly downhill the car starts to accelerate/decelerate depending on the slope? My fossil car is like that.
No idea.
This car is about 34000 EUR, ID.3 Pure with ACC and 110 kW charging is even cheaper and so much more efficient it makes no sense at all.
Hey adamım ben türküm ve İngilizce bilmiyorum şuan 100 km sabit hızlar la kaç km menzil verir teşekkür ederim.
The charging depo you are using in this and the 90-video, how much does it cost to charge?
For me 30 cent kWh
Memerlukan lebih ramai orang jadi sebarkan video ini lebih banyak
Hyundai Ioniq in cruise control takes 2 kWh more at 120 kmh. Better self driving.
Depends on the road. If there is no downhill where you can coast then there is no difference.
@@BatteryLife Habs mehrfach mit meinem Ausprobiert. Gleiche Strecken. Immer wenn der ACC arbeitet habe ich höheren Verbrauch. Immer. So lasse ich einfach segeln und brauche wesentlich weniger.
Meh.... 😊
