I was wondering if I should credit the original composer in the description, but apparently Korobeiniki is a traditional Russian folk song that a Nintendo composer popularised as the Tetris theme, so the original composer is unknown. I recall that in the TV show 'House of Cards', it was played during a party attended by the Russian president, with accompanying folk dancing.
Thanks Patrick. It finally dawned on me that I’ve got a CD in my collection by the string quartet BOND which I purchased in Singapore in 2002 when there for a few days. On that CD the title is “Korobushka” which is an alternative name for Korobeiniki. The treatment you’ve done in your extension is great. I’m not a gamer so was unaware how popular and how many different treatments of the Tetris theme there are on RUclips. Cheers. Colin F. - New Zealand.
