For "OG Superstar Mid" I'd say it's more either Shushei(S01 Fnatic midlaner) or even Althor before he abruptly left the scene in Season 2. xpeke though is definitely the most iconic EU Superstar Mid.
@@ecrofkwah9564 I absolutely think it's dead. Most people don't watch esports and the people that saw this either don't play anymore or won't say anything. Maybe it's my games but people don't talk as much in chat anymore. I even get flamed less in general. Maybe it's because aram/normal games
@@PaKuaKwon it used to always be called xpeke, but backdooring became more common while xpeke kind of faded away. From personal experience it has been kind of replaced by thebaus special recently.
Back when i started playing with friends the "xPeke-backdoor" definetely was a thing. It kind of faded out of memory though and i rarely see it anymore.
@@ToTheGrave20No man. He won the first worlds ever, then 3 LCS titles with Fnatic, and then he created his own team with which he reached the LCS finals (getting to the 5th match against that amazing Fnatic of Huni and Reignover) and then had an amazing performance at worlds 2015 (they were knocked out in semifinals by T1). Apart from that, he won many other international tournaments and had more worlds appearances. This guy is a legend, definitely one of the most influential players in the history of EU League of Legends. Don’t let the last years, when he assumed more of a managerial role, change your opinion on him. He’s a legend, and one of the few Europeans who can say that won Worlds. He deserves respect man, he was charismatic, an amazing player at his time, and most importantly, a great person. Thanks to him League of Legends is what it is nowadays ( at least in Spain )
