  • We're back working on the 2012 RZR 570 to remove the drive shaft. The U-joints need replacing and the drive shaft needs to be removed. I elected to remove my drive shaft from the rear of the vehicle although some people claim they've had success removing it from the front. Either way, make sure to use an actual roll pin punch removal tool, it'll make it much easier!

Hi. Great video. Do you have a reinstall video? I have a 2012 RZR 900 and I’m trying to figure out how to get the shaft back in. I’m debating whether I need to remove / loosen the front gear case. I can’t seem to get enough clearance to put the shaft back on. This is a big job and big pain in the rear.

I don't unfortunately. The 900 is a slightly different beast. I will say, however, if you think you might need to remove the front gear case then it's best you do that. I really fought with this project on trying to take shortcuts and not removing components that I would have been better off just removing more components. Good luck and thanks for watching!

Really an excellent video - explains everything! I appreciate you finding a way to drive the pin out from the bottom!!! I was seriously wondering how I was going to get that pin out, even with my roll pin punches.

@@TheDadBodWorkshop Seriously helped!!! Took me about an hour to get it out, taking my time. Only loosened the driver's side of the floor pan and was able to prop it up enough to get the shaft out. Couldn't have done it without the detailed instructions you provided. Thanks again!
