Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I was making a sleeping bag for my granddaugher's dolly when I came across your pattern. It saved me from having to use a zipper like in adult bags...what a time saver! I was able to use some left over quilt blocks with extra wide fabric for the back to wrap around and border the front. It turned out adorable!

That’s awesome!!!!!!! I agree, it is so nice not to have to use a zipper😂 I am so glad to hear that this pattern worked for you😻

Just learned how to piece fabric and quilt this past April. I’m making Christmas gifts currently and made this for my 3 yr old niece and a 20” baby doll. I increased the measurements to 18” wide and 42ish “ long. I probably could’ve made it a little more narrow for the baby and question, however I was afraid if I made it to snug my Little niece would have too hard of a time taking the baby in and out of it by herself. It came out darling! I searched for a pattern that was free, didn’t have any zipper or buttons and this tutorial and pattern worked out great! Thanks much!

I am so glad to hear that!!!! I created this pattern to be an easy beginner friendly project and it sounds like it did just that 🥳Adjusting the measurements was a great idea too. Did you make the pillow or hood version? I am sure your niece will love it 😍 happy sewing 🧵

Tamara's Joy was torn as both would’ve been good but due to her age I made the hood so the pillow wouldn’t be lost lol

Super cute, wanted to make a sleeping bag for the American Girl dolls, and this was the perfect pattern. Of course size a bit larger. I used a print with a directional pattern, so had to use some brainpower on how that would work with the pillow, and the part of the bag that is turned down. FYI, no adjustments, print works directionally for both the pillow and the turn down part!

This is so cute. I do prefer the boy's version of having the pillow attached.

But here are the basic measurements:13″ Doll Sleeping Bag Measurements: 11″ wide by 28″ long. 6″ Beanie Boo Sleeping Bag Measurements: 7″ wide by 14″ long. Hope that gets you started!
