  • Toby Uhlenkott's family has been herding cattle along the steep sides of Steptoe Canyon for generations. In an effort to restore this tributary of the Snake River in southeastern Washington, Toby collaborated with the Palouse Conservation District and other funding partners to manage a viable family operation while enhancing water quality and generating fish habitat.
