Depends on the amount of light you get in the room. The handles will get darker as time goes on and the dark brown might get too dark. So I prefer the lighter brown/orange since it will turn to a richer color but not dull.
I think the monogram. Even though it blends, they are one family. It looks nice to have it look similar than needing a pop all the time too. I say go with the darker brown to match your trunk!
As there are going to be more monogram pieces in your new home than Hermès equestrian ones, I would definitely suggest you go for the monogram bell lamp!

If you like contrast, get the darker monogram lamp; would be better suited to a cooler colour palette too. The lighter brown leather will lighten up a room though.
