End of an era for the channel indeed. Thanks for all the exiting matches with these decks. Having said that, I can’t wait to see what you will do next, I’m sure that it will be equally enjoyable to watch!!
I got back into Magic thiis year and found this channel this year, I searched for a unboxing of The 2021 Planewalker decks which took me to MTG Unpacked, then on the side bar I saw “Mana Cave Liliana vs Garruk planeswalker deck showdown”, clicked on it, immediately clicked with your mannerisms and down to earth nature, and now I’ve watched the entire backlog of Planeswalker decks as well as guild kits, brawl decks and challenger decks. So glad i took the leap and clicked the video.
I’m one of those people that look at the video length and estimates if there’s a 3rd round, lol. Great content as always, hope to enjoy it on the podcasts too!
End of an era for sure. I actually found your channel way back when, because of the Planeswalker deck showdowns. The Vraska Vampire Planeswalker Deck was the first deck I ever bought, and that is what got me into Magic. I looked it up on youtube, and found your gameplay video on it. Even if the decks themselves werent always the best, it was still fun to watch all these videos.
Hell yeah shout outs for Steve! Man what a game, feels a little sad knowing this may be the last planeswalker showdown but I look forward to the upcoming content. Also the only thing smoother than those sponsored dragon shield sleeves is definitely Travis's smooth silver tongue 🤣
To be honest I'm gonna kinda miss them too. And I['m really glad those videos helped you find the channel! Hopefully some of the new stuff we do will act in a similar way, and maybe be an entry point for other games as well.
Great video guys. I really like Ultimate Guard Katana sleeves. They gave a better feel than dragon shields for me. The local game stores are marking up the pioneer challenger decks. Amazon has them for ~$42. These feel fairly reasonable seeing that most of the pioneer decks in the meta cost $200-$400 to build from scratch and the spirits and lotus combo are really good starting points to building the full deck. I completely understand your issue with price seeing that your buying all for the channel. For a person trying to get into pioneer buying one of these to upgrade is fairly good value. Interested to hear you guys first podcast.
it is sad to see this is the end of the planeswalker showdown but its was always going to come to the end for me be interesting to see what comes next for you guys i for one would love to see ed and travis play there own constructed decks they have made go head to head and see wich one is the best constructed deck lol but as always guys another fantastic video love them all even when i hurt my foot lol never stop keep going we all love watching your videos
Thanks, Michael! I appreciate the support you've shown the channel, so I'm glad to hear you're still looking forward to what we come up with in the future. And I'm glad your foot is doing better!
I plan on a relaxing planeswalker binge from the beginning to relive the Magic. See what I did there? Seriously guys, it was a very entertaining run. Looking forward to future content, particularly other boardgames. Take care fellas.
Travis slightly misplayed Taranika on the second game, as he should have untapped the creature that was the target of Taranika's ability after it attacks. Wouldn't have changed much, Yanling is just too fast deploying her army of small fliers while controlling the board. For me she's the fair champion. I will really miss these planeswalker deck showdowns, these decks were fun when played each other. Anyway, I'd love to see more board games in your channel besides the Mana Cave. You make a great work with this channel and I'm sure that, whatever you do here, will be great.

Great video guys! Just got two bundles with a friend for a draft night, can't wait!
I’m really going to miss the planeswalker decks, and the showdowns was how I found your channel. They were s great entry point

@@BrainPulp I can’t wait for the board games as well!
these planeswalker deck showdowns are what got me into MtG, it's a real shame that wotc discontinued these products.
I love Magic, but I also love board games. I am excited for you board game videos! Have you guys played Netrunner?

So sad to hear it’s the last planeswalker video but will continue to support your contents.
Thanks, Kitty! I appreciate that. 😀👍

I am going to miss the planeswalker decks so much!It would be fun if you would turn them into Oathbreakers and have a game once in a while.
What about Planeswalker deck tournament where the decks are selected randomly at the beginning
Coincidentally the only two constructed decks I ever bought last year were these two. I guess I just have an eye for the best of the best :D
Glad to hear you picked some winners! 👍
Chandra 1 was the only planeswalker deck with a shot against Yanling. Still think you should do a supermatch sometime.
The blue brain in the beginning seems to be hinting at the champ. (pregame post)
???
Wth? Got a 12 minute "commercial" for "Louder with Crowder" a few minutes into the show. Weird.
