This is the best, boat manufacturing video in existence. My boat manufacturers just focus on the boat on the water but we expect the boat to function on the water. Thank you for deep diving into your product.
Very good explanation of everything you talked about ! I love to overbuild things and having owned several boats both fiberglass and aluminum I am glad to see a boat builder overbuild their boats to eliminate their customers from having problems down the road. Congrats to you and your company, fantastic job ! ! !
Silly question: Can the rear bait tank option be upgraded to 80 gallons with filtration and "secrets" the buyer provides? Would that be to much weight in the back?
He is wanting round ends to probably keep smelt alive. Also constant circulation. It's not a secret. Most boat designers design for the masses, not a particular bait. There is already an aluminum boat manufacturer that has this option.
@jamespierson9312 This bait tank is designed for keeping anchovies alive which are some of the most sensitive baits to try and manage. Much more too it than rounded corners. I saw another manufacture started doing that to their boxes this year, that's a fraction of the problem but the most talked about.. their design still won't work. If we're talking about keeping anchovies alive which this OP isn't. We've been doing this in boats since 2021 and started designing and prototyping it in 2019. No one does this in aluminum boats, 99% of salesmen couldn't tell you the difference between a bait tank and a livewell.
Good video , lots of excellent information but the one distracting thing reflects in all the good of this video is the lack of good volume control. At some points the feed volume was so low I could not bring it up to a decent listening level. Thanks no direct disperagy as I enjoyed the show.
You mentioned using 1/4” plate for the bottom. I checked a site in Canada and most of the models are .190 bottom plate. I am looking to buy a new boat and I want 1/4” bottom plate.
Site in Canada? All of our boats 2024 and newer are all 1/4" bottom plate. What model are you looking at? You're welcome to email us direct with any specific questions. JonL@RaiderBoats.com
@@raiderboats I can’t send an email. It keeps saying my email address that I’m using isn’t valid. Do you have a link to any Canadian Dealerships. Preferably on Vancouver island or lower Mainland.

Beautiful work sir. Outstanding presentation of the quality differences between brands and fabrication philosophy. Old school stuff. Very refreshing.
Thanks Todd!

Is the want to keep Catfish alive? Or for live bait? What do you mean by “Secrets”? You’re welcome to email us directly at JonL@RaiderBoats.com
@@raiderboats To keep a specific bait alive that is difficult to keep alive.

Wow awesome Quality and thought are built into your boats.

Thank you for the feedback. We've been playing with a variety of microphones.. Hopefully we'll get it nailed in these display buildings better.

@@raiderboats I was looking at the Pro Fish 220. And a few others. I have been on so many sites now I can’t remember what site it was on.
