    I don't know if you had this hunch deep down from the first round too. But to me when they spoke up in that first debate, gojo was clearly kira's follower and ryxman was kira. I'm not a detective but a psychologist so I go by people's way of talking and not necessarily by deduction x) Gojo was playing the "vote me so i prove my innocence cause i passed all the ID anyway" card and ryxman was playing the "i don't know how to play" card.
    Now I don't know how to play this game yet but when he took your ID during that task, I would have personally followed him to not let him pass the ID in front of you or peak on who's kira

      What you say makes sense. I agree. I noted that it made me suspicious of him as well during that first discussion, but dismissed it because he may not have been accustomed to the mechanics/knowledge of the game. Rather, I wasn't sure. So I waited for more information.
      I should have trusted my instinct more, as you did. Perhaps I would have survived by avoiding him after that first discussion. You make good points. I will take that and learn from it.
      I look forward to more of your analysis as a psychologist.

    Loving these videos seeing the sharp deducting of a professional. looking foward to the next one! I do have to say that Kira can even lend the notebook itself along all IDs to effectively swap roles with the follower. Recently saw a game where the follower would agressively take IDs in front of everyone and give them to Kira. Getting chained but not convicted in the meeting sinced they had nothing. The follower acted as an innocent investigator enough for everyone to focus on the actual Kira. but before they would get them the Kira gave everything to the follower. This confused everyone and eventually led to L getting imprisoned, their name exposed and their name written in the book.

    Just an addition to the text at 9:24: You forgot to factor in that IDs can be swapped between members of team Kira. Gojo skipping the vote and suggesting with such confidence people should vote for him to clear his innocence (7:53), even though you know for a fact that he is on team Kira, strongly implies that he gave the stolen ID to his teammate (whom, as you mentioned, Andy had already suspected Ryxmun might be), especially since Gojo had plenty of time to do so after stealing your ID at the start of the day. Airen mostly being near Andy and you over the second half of the day (6:32-6:43) and Gojo seemingly not helping you with the investigation (6:53) further suggests that Gojo is busy handing the IDs to Ryxmun specifically; this isn't absolute proof, however. Andy's testimony alone does not prove Ryxmun is the one in possession of the Death Note and your ID, either (it rather narrows down the suspects to just Ryxmun and Gojo). Gojo having handed your ID to his teammate was the only logical conclusion to arrive at considering his behaviour during the discussion (re: his complete confidence nothing would be found if he were voted in addition to having had enough time and information to pull this off), and this was actually what I had suspected as I was watching the video. I definitely had the huge advantage of not having to think about what to say during the discussion and thus risk blundering, and it's clear your analytical skills are those of a professional detective.

      That's exactly what I think. Wonderful analysis. The problem is that at the time I voted with haste, which I admit I should not have done until I was sure everyone's testimony was accounted for, I wasn't sure who else could have been Kira/Kira's follower. At that moment, I voted for him for two reasons. Two possibilities. I hoped that he was bluffing. I've done that before. I will offer those to vote for me, just so I can make them doubt themselves and focus on the next suspect. Potentially avoiding my own capture. I thought he might take his chances doing that, so I do the opposite of what I think he might be wanting me to do. Though, I had a bad feeling that he did not have my ID on him.
      I also considered that he might not have realized that he had taken my ID. That's why I say he may have taken it by mistake when we did that joint task. I've done that before and didn't realize I stole the ID of the person I was near. I think it's because the auto steal ID was on or that I pressed a button by mistake as I wanted to do a task. If he were new to the game, I thought it would be possible that he had taken it and didn't realize it. Even in the discussion. Especially for a player who is overwhelmed by stuff on the screen. If things are happening too quickly, you might miss it. So, at the time, I'm thinking that maybe he is either bluffing really well to influence me to choose another suspect or that he stole my ID and didn't realize it (which is why he was confident that he didn't have it. Perhaps he didn't know how to check if he was holding an ID).
      I thought it was weird that Gojo didn't show up to the next joint task, but if he wasn't familiar with the joint task input and operations, then it's possible he didn't realize there was another. I've done that before, too. I didn't know that I had to do three of them, so I went about my other task that caught my attention first.
      It's also possible he took my ID by mistake and, realizing his mistake, plotted to psychologically fool us to second-guess ourselves in order to save his skin. So both can be true. The only problem is that he would be setting Kira up to potentially be suspected, but sometimes that's a risk one will take to not be defeated and leave Kira in a limiting position. I had a LOT on my mind at that moment.
      I really enjoyed your analysis. I hope you continue to point out things like this. I'm always learning, so comments like these mean a lot to me. So, don't be a stranger.

      @Euphorion 11 дней назад +1

      @@misterholmesian All of your points are completely reasonable, and I myself, though I've only ever played a few Among Us rounds and am superficially familiar with this game's mechanics through videos, have sometimes experienced suspects bluffing for the exact same reasons you mentioned. My comment mainly focused on the day your ID was stolen as well as the discussion thereafter, but earlier information is obviously crucial as well - especially Gojo suggesting others vote for him at 3:55. There is no reason for him to do this, as the only possible outcomes are:
      1. Gojo is an investigator and his name is revealed, giving team Kira an advantage.
      2. Gojo is on team Kira and has already given any incriminating evidence to his teammate, thus making him appear innocent.
      (There is also technically the third possibility of him being on team Kira and possessing IDs/the Death Note, but bluffing makes no sense for Kira to do in this situation. It is very risky with little to no reward - the investigators only somewhat suspect him.)
      Since both of these outcomes directly benefit team Kira, Gojo's suggestion is suspicious. You correctly pointed this out at 4:14 and 4:23. I assume you weren't certain about it, however, because there are exactly two possibilities regarding this information:
      1. Gojo is an investigator and unaware that his offer would help team Kira.
      2. Gojo is on team Kira and is seeking to benefit from a situation in which he is proven not to possess any IDs and/or the Death Note.
      Therefore, Gojo making this suggestion does not prove he is guilty, but it is highly suspicious. One should keep this information in mind over the rest of the game, as it is possible he was willingly preparing to create one such situation.
      (Fun fact: Light makes the exact same mistake in episode 10 of the anime. At around 18:15, after leaving the hospital with L, Light offers to be locked up for a prolonged period of time to prove his innocence, to which L replies that an investigator should generally not comply with a suspect's suggestions.)
      As we already know, Gojo stole your ID on the next day (though proof of this is only revealed at the beginning of that day's discussion). It is likely he anticipated or perhaps even planned for you to notice it with the intention of creating the beneficial situation I mentioned earlier. This theory is strongly supported by the fact that you survived day 2; it would have been much safer to kill you before the discussion began, thus preventing you from sharing definitive proof of Gojo's guilt. If we consider all of these points as well as Gojo again suggesting others vote for him, I think it is pretty safe to assume he planned for this to happen and handed Ryxmun any IDs.
      Much of this still boils down to guessing how the person in question would act if they were Kira, and it's also almost impossible to consider every single detail and eventuality within two minutes while talking and listening to other players' testimonies.
      I'm glad you enjoyed my analysis! It's a funny coincidence I'm a med student - I could be your Mini-Watson 😳

      I like how you say that I may not have been certain about Gojo's guilt in the first discussion, and that there were two possibilities that could make one unsure. You understand perfectly. You can actually hear me, though I'm being talked over a bit, say "...maybe you just didn't think of it...". At 4:28 .
      In general, you bring up good points worth discussing.
      I like your mind. It makes me want to play with you in this game. I'm considering playing with viewers at some point. Do you plan to get the game eventually?
      If so, I insist that we play together. If you'd be ok with being a part of a video that I'll upload, that would be cool. I can tell that investigating with you, or battling against you, would be a good experience.
      The events in this video happened before the events of my first upload on this game. So, I've learned a lot from this experience as I continued on. I'm itching to apply the lessons learned on my next session of this game.
      Also, med student? That's exciting.

      @misterholmesian  13 дней назад +4

      @trabalhogames2410 Full lobbys are complicated. I say that because I do not like when so many people are talking over each other. With ten people, especially those without respect for each other, there's a lack of order to the discussions. You'll often find people just having a shouting match to appear more "right". I prefer small groups because everyone has time to talk and it's more personal. However, I'd be willing to do a full lobby if the players joined will respect the rules of discussion. Perhaps I'd play with viewers. With you guys, I can see a full lobby going well. Otherwise, I'll have to stress the rule of order when making a full lobby with random people joining. I'll see what I can do. If I can find other RUclipsrs willing to play with me, I will. That's a good idea. Thanks for the advice!

      @misterholmesian I totally agree with you, the fun part about this game it's not to argue, but to actually reason what is happening, but some people scream just for views. It's going to be pretty hard to find a big lobby with lots of challenges to track and have fun reasoning and also have people being respectful. Maybe if you stream and start to find viewers that fit both of the categories you can have longer games.

    I like this channel specifically because there’s no yelling matches or people constantly talking over each other, just calm critical thinking. The small lobby probably helps quite a bit, but I’ve seen a few rare times where large lobbies do this when they play with friends.
    I was already onto who Kira was from the first match. The first thing that tipped me off in the first discussion was Rxymun skipping almost immediately. Sure, he was new to the game so it’s not clear nor conclusive evidence but I thought it was worth noting. Both Gojo and Rxymun were very quiet in the first part but again, both new players, might be figuring things out. The first thing that made me very sure of both Gojo and Rxymun was Gojo CONTINUING to insist that they vote him to prove his innocence, even after he was told that it would reveal his identity and would make him a free target for Kira. He insisted with a confidence that made me think there was no real risk of him putting his name out there, and that instantly made me suspicious.
    You noticed this too and suspected him, but doubted it because he was, again, a new player or someone who didn’t think of it, but in my opinion that’s one coincidence too many. Even a new player would understand that dying is bad, and the game certainly isn’t fun when you die, so he should’ve been more opposed to it. One thing that I noticed is that Kira’s teammates tend to be more outspoken, seemingly to cover for Kira’s tendency to be very quiet. Draw the attention off em, yk.
    On the second discussion it was obvious that Gojo was on Kiras side, and thought Rxymun was suspicious to me, it wasn’t conclusive. The conclusive part was the accusation battle. Gojo mentioned specifically Airen, and he wouldn’t draw attention to Kira, so that rules Airen out. Andy was also accusing both Gojo and Rxymun, and Andy was already basically confirmed to be an investigator so it was pretty obvious who Kira was. Gojo’s insistence already made me cross him off as Kira, so the game should’ve been done right there, but I can understand why you were hesitant.
    Both were new players and it takes time to think about all these factors before voting. You voted too early on as you said yourself, and had to go with Gojo in the slim chance that he hadn’t handed off your id to Rxymun. Now I probably wouldn’t have acted perfectly in the game if I were there too, so I really can’t blame you 😅 You getting to where you were is still impressive

      I like the analysis. I admit, I was still somewhat new to the game as well. I didn't understand the confiscating ID mechanic until after this video was recorded, for example.
