      So I hate these comments
Problem is you have no idea what’s going on. My sons work hard to earn what they have and they are at a precious age to be soaking up all the knowledge that I am giving them! So that’s what I’m doing is raising men, not boys who stay at home playing videos games and learning no basic skills until they are past their learning prime and out of school!
Yes Tuckers attitude is different but that’s the way he is.
So maybe next time think a little harder and look a little deeper before dropping a comment

@@petenolte4192 Seeing as how I have five pu's, with 3 of them diesels, and one of those a dually 5 speed with 5.9 Cummins with all the Banks goodies, I think you can rule out "jealousy". SR

@@C_CEQUIPMENT I believe you on that part, but I hate to see a kid getting all the great help, then walking around like he doesn't appreciate it, and on top of that, has an attitude. SR

Clint I just saw the terrible comment going after your kids and it bothers me so I just want to say a couple things. First, that's just a troll. Second I respect that if your kids are going to have a vehicle then they have to learn how it works and help put it together. I'll be doing the same with my just turned 16 year old this summer. Most of us out here support your positive approach to raising decent kids that respect the value of work!

I currently operate a TD25 for my brother in law who owns a crushing company. I am currently using it to do restoration around a 26 acre lake that was formed from sand mining. It’s a beast and fun to operate. Old school in today’s construction world😊. As to writing the hours and date on filters, that’s something that we’ve always done, and I wish everyone would do that.

Please at some point in your life teach at a vocational school, as you see your sons turn from boys to men your inside joy must be almost hard to contain. When they are grown and out of the house and on their own ( this will be only in a few short years now) you can have this same amount of joy by teaching other peoples boys (and girls) a trade. Not one in 10 parents have the same world knowledge that you do. They may sit behind a desk all their life making a living and can't offer what you can to teach their children. You will begrudgingly sign up to teach, but the amount of joy you will get is more than you will give. Nothing is better than teaching someone and letting them figure it out on their own and that look that comes over then when they understand it is priceless. Just a suggestion between the out of the house time and the new grandpa time.

Love me some dozer videos. Let me say, I understand your answering back to that troll. He doesn’t know your kids, or your house. He lives a sad life if commenting on someone else’s, makes his day. As a parent of a 30-something, I’ve seen glimpses of her work ethic growing up. Now that she’s hit her stride, career wise, it puts a huge smile on my face. Your kids are on their way, they just don’t know it yet. Keep up the good work.

At shop rate, definitely cheaper to just replace the shoes.
Depending on how much the boys are being paid, knowing their rate of speed will be slower because they are learning, wire, and redos, you might save 25 percent because they are pretty good welders.

I like your machine. 15,000 hours wouldn't scare me away from a tractor that has been treated right. I was/am a fan of IH/Dresser/Dressta even though i run Deere. I could never figure out why more manufacturer's didn't adopt the same two speed steering system. It is my opinion that it was more versatile and user friendly and it always kept the power on the inside track. I believe you will find welding grousers is the preferable option to swapping out shoes when your base shoe is in good shape. Pads changes are a lot more expensive and may involve new bolts in many cases, not to mention having a lot of torch time and labor just to get the old bolts out. Pre-cut, commercial grousers actually build out a lot quicker and cheaper than a pad change at least where stick welding is concerned, but I never saw it done with mig. 👍👍👍

We bought one of those monsters a few months ago with a new undercarriage and newly rebuilt engine. We plan on doing a complete restoration project on it. I need to adjust the planetary drive brakes, but other than some faded paint it seems to be in great shape. If you adjust yours, please show the process in detail because there's lots of people out there that has those machines that has no idea how to correctly adjust the two speed differential. Those old machines have outlasted the old timers who kept them running.
