Ferreriinfo1111 and DeepBeeps, thanks for all your sharing and design ideas!! Super inspiring...can’t wait to get started. We raised rabbits when I was a kid and we had all wood floors. Led to wet and dirty feet. You give a great balance! I’ll be using very large, industrial sized aluminum baking sheets for the poop drawers. Again, great designs!
I love this design...about to start the building of our hutches. But unfortunately I think it'll cost too much in money and time for us. Also we are in Texas...so we need all of the ventilation that we can get!! :) Great video though.
@@deepbeeps Ok, so that I can wrap my head around the process, the significant change you made was to make the structure bigger, thus giving the rabbits more space?
You will get far more disease without it. With these hutches there is plenty of area where they can get off the wire if they choose. The "house" has a wooden floor and there is a board out front for them to sit on. The cages stay much cleaner with the wire floor in part of the hutch!
+Gary Boucher Nothing, but the black rubber sucks up heat a little and it doesn't freeze that easily. When it does, knock the ice out twice a day and give them new water.
Lily Ben Shoshan please don't believe everything you read...the size of wire and the breed of rabbit all comes into this ..for example this large breed is fine with that size of wire..and even if they weren't happy with the wire there is plenty of space with out wire. please do research before telling people that

Hey it's been 4 years how are your rabbits?
how much did it cost to make?
Do you have any drawings or cut list for your incubator? Would you be willing to share?
Sorry, I do not. I just sort of create as I build.
great adaptation! would you share the plans with me?
I would love to, but there are none. I just winged it as I went, inspired by ferreriinfo1111 here on youtube with his Canadian rabbit hutch.

@@skoalmen143 More space and more shelter for cold weather.
@@deepbeeps Thank you. You have improved on the original!
Where are u located. I'm looking to get welsh harlequin ducks
Sorry, I sold all the Welsh Harlequins.
In sweden it's elegal to have wire as flooring. It is huting the bunnys feet.
Ella Lager I'm so glad to hear that!!#savethebunniesfeet
Both of you are wrong.

Ella Lager hurting not hunting
you need to get that law changed
Is ground contact a bad idea
Not if you use treated posts like I did. They are made for in ground or on ground contact and are good for 50 years.
what do you do for there water not to freeze

Your rabbits need some hay
Mikeyboy 1264 did u not watch the whole thing they have hay
this looks realy great! except one point... the wire actually hurts their feet...

Ríonach nc All wires hurt there feet so back off dumbass
send me the plans
Can I have a shoutout because I have a rabbits
Why do I see wire? You bunnies may get sore hocks
They have a piece of plywood to sit on out on the wire and their house is a solid wood floor. I have never had any problem at all with their feet!
@@deepbeeps Alright, well then that made it better that they only have a little bit.
Don’t put rabbits in a cage or hutch if it has wire the rabbits won’t like it
Please cover the wire. It hurts their feet.
