Ken, I love the videos. I used to practice nunchaku when I was younger, but stuck to an attack style. I put them down for a few years (7 at least), but recently picked them back up. I've learned so much from your videos, but still have so much to learn. New styles, new tricks, great performance advice, I'm hooked! Whatever your number of new spinners is +1. I love love love the tech labs videos. I would love to see some of the more advanced moves broken down some, but there is Soo much material... I think there is enough to keep me busy for the next 10 years. Thank you!
I have had three kinds of light up nunchucks of the years the first one where hard acrylic plastic, They where to heavy and the light wasn't very good and light hollow chucks that were quicker and Safer for practice, but not as good as your chucks ken.
hey man! i just wanted to say thank you for the time you've put in to put these videos up. they have helped me immensely. i really want to get a pair of those chucks. ive only been doing it for a bout 2 weeks now but i feel like its something im going to be doing for a long time. can't wait til flowfire is back up so i can join the community and hopefully pick up those glow chucks thanks again, Mack
hey ken i noticed in the comments you said these chucks are no longer available. :/ just wondering is there an alternative that looks the same? i love that these look like regular chucks and the the glow is a continuous solid line of color throughout as oppose to the Flowtoys Flowchucks which look more like balls of light inside a prop
Ken thank you I'm only 13 and a lot of people around me do nun chucks and they are way better I just spent 2 hours watching your videos I would stop and then play but not I'm better than almost ever one and I wanted to say thank you please do a lot more videos
after 10 minutes i hardly get get the bicep roll thingy... do you twist your elbow a bit?? + i dont hold it off i hold it from the top with my bicep i find it easier to roll round.. i did it once i cant remember how i did it
This stuff is actually more dangerous than palying with a butterfly knife, those seem to be better for tricks, they look less large than mine, witch are made of a large piece of heavy wood, its very powerfull on striking but once in a while when i pull them under my arm, a nerve on the side of my elbow gets striked and my arm gets knocked out, then i dont peak then again for 15 month at minimum.
2012XF3 well wood is not by far the best material to learn a basic few tricks, something less dense would surely give you more cofidence to swing it faster and practice more, i also think the metal chain of mine may not be the correct size for my arm, but it may be not pro talking.
ken hill yeah XD, that thing kills me whenever it hits my arm, yours are very good to practice, the cilinders have the same diameter, mines get larger by the ends to give more impact and the wood is so thick and the chain i think is a little bit too short, so it does not need almost any force to ocasionaly hit my elbow and knock me the fuck out lol.
Hej Ken! I have created a new trick and soon I will put it on my channel as fast as possible and I will give you a comment on this video when I have made it. One lead is the name and I call it a rerip. Have a good day and I will comment when I made the video.
almost 30 years of using nunchakus I have never seen the ones you have. so beautiful.

You can turn the haymaker into a figure 8 wrist roll or just a fist roll before bouncing it off the tricep
