Has anyone noticed that most of the factories in the video appear to be Chinese? What does this say about the ability of the USA to manufacture such products? Remember the onset of the coronavirus, when the USA did not have the industrial capacity even to make face masks? Maybe we have something to learn here.
yes it's called economics ... you could make the masks in the USA ... but labor is more expensive, so do you want to pay $5 each? or would you outsource their manufacture to china then pay a $1 each ... and pocket the $4 change ... sure you could place an import duty on the chinese mask so that it was also $5 ... but that's inefficient as everything has then become more expensive and your still out $4 in change ... and let's not get started with inflation
The problem is that countries like USA and UK outsourced most of their manufacturing to China and India for the cheap labour. We have exactly the same problem in UK, we make so little that China can hold us to ransom anytime they want.
There are over 2 Billion factories located in China compared to 600,000 in the United States.
Usa had the infrastructure to enforce wearing one and enforce taking the jab or be out of job
Chinese is poor quality, but even worse they steal, imitate, copy and counterfeit the rest of the world's iconic brands. Out of a billion plus people, not one is creative enough to create their own. So without including Huawei, can anyone name an internationally renowned iconic brand which is a household name and uniquely Chinese?
I still love the excuse of chip companies filling the bag with half air as "protecting the chips from breaking" during transit. Such a fail as chips break all the time during transit.

Am I the only person who watched this to see what they were doing with the snakes? I noticed that squeezed in towards the end there was one brief unrelated clip with one snake, one of a few pigs eating and a short one with a tray of chicks on a conveyor belt, all three with no narration. What gives...?

It's amazing that everything we use daily has to be made for us now and we have no idea who made it. It would be nice to know who did so we could thank them. I bet we would all treat our things better. Maybe even my luggage being made by the men in swimming trunks and Birkenstocks😂

Wish i had read the comments first, just wasted 30 mins of my life, and i am very old.
But aren't all these machines making all of us humans devolve if we can't learn to do all this ourselves, then what will we & our future generations do if something ever happens & machines become obsolete one day? This is just my opinion guy so don't come at me in the comments. I was just thinking with my big girl pants on today.
I mean, most of these things are still doable by hand and with basic tools, and those that aren't aren't even going to be in demand in a world where we lose this technology.
Also, 'obsolete' isn't the word you're looking for. That would imply something better came around, which wouldn't make the issue you're describing.
Well imo the problem isnt the machines. Its the companies that use them to replace workers.
Machines can help greatly when used as tools and could reduce injuries and do jobs that are way to intricate or too strong for people to do quickly. Also people have been using tools for a long time, they just change over time.
Also humans stuborn, if something happened we fix it or adapt.
Now there are machines that replace human heads : chips that imitate human thought and speech !
