The visual was truly beautiful but a bit deceiving when one listens to the story. This was a true tale of horror. Thank you. Have a wonderful Wednesday ♡♡
Warren isn’t dead, he left his cat with me this afternoon on the good faith that he’d return in the morning to collect his feline friend. 3 pouches over the course of the remainder of the waking hours of today, with dry biscuits and fresh water available, and one in the morning.
Major depressive disorder is a b*tch. I don't know explicitly what it is, but your voice and these stories calm my brain, slow my breathing. You allow me a small time of relaxation. Maybe even more so than the drugs I overuse for the same purpose.
Who could enjoy listening to this? Unless their definition of enjoyment; it was to torture one’s self. Lucky for me I define enjoyment as self torture😇
This brought back memories of many months spent living on a remote lake in northwestern Ontario, where, fortunately, nothing so upsetting occured.
That sounds peaceful. Glad you got that experience to look back on 👌
Amazing this was written in 1937. This is a story beautifully written in the true essence of horror, which means I absolutely loved it!
Great story and narration!
Thanks!
Great story and narration!!!

This is exactly why I don't have friends. Another excellent presentation, thanks.
"If you don't panic! If you can hold your breath!" (gurgle gurgle...)
I adore this channel, from the stories to the narrator. Thank you as always for the wonderful content!
Now we got a great story here, sir!
This new series is so far.. intriguing the "Death Forest" was great. Just great. Can't wait to see what's coming next..
Brilliant adaptation! Any chance for a reading of The Skull in the Stars by Robert E. Howard. I would love to hear your version.💀

It is very good of you to take care of his cat, but the horror is that the voice had to be that of an inexorable, deadly, inhuman, demonic entity!
Not to mention the cat's name.... ******man

I always love happy endings.
Good evening all.
Bizarrely humorous 😅 thanks for all your work 🥃
Wandrei is honestly a lot better than many, more famous horror writers. I hope he gets a release from Valencourt one day.
Alot less babble then the other stories, love it

This is probably Minnesota where Donald Wandrei lived.
Why would they have hated each other? 🤔
Good question.
