A GREAT but wet FIRST day opening at Heaton Park Tramway!!!! , 15th June 2024.

A delayed first day opening in 2024, for Heaton Park Tramway ( Greater Manchester)!
Also my first visit here and well worth it. Two trams running, a look round the museum, a walk through the park, and lots of birds round the lake.

Yes it is. Only a few tram stops from Bury, then a 10 minute walk through the park.

@@cedarcam yes me too . Get off at Heaton park tram stop. Then just across the road into the park and a 10 minute walk. Although the signs in the park could be better., I had to ask someone. Yes, might see you at KWVR

Yes a nice change Kelly. The old trams are interesting and different, and a bit like trains lol. The new ones are a means to get there.
