Thanks, great video! One thing I use for the fungus gnats is a trick from my grandmother that we all have in our kitchen - liquid dish detergent. Not organic, but easy & effective. Take a small, shallow dish. Add a drop or 2 of your liquid dish detergent, add water, and mix. Sit the dish beside your plants and ruffle the leaves of your plants to stir up the gnats. They are drawn to the dish detergent mix and die. Keep adding fresh mix and they disappear within 7-10 days.
My favorite way to help prevent fungus gnats is to pour boiling water in soil or boil soil in water and let it drain over night. 9 times out of 10 when you see fungus gnats, they were already in the soil.
It is always a pleasure to watch your videos, especially now that we are in the middle of winter. You now have me in the mood to start my Tiny Tims now. I had not considered growing them inside during the winter, but what a great way to brush away the winter blues by planting now. Thanks for the inspiration!
The cucumber seeds I bought here last year just germinated in two days in my Park bio dome. I'm also using grow bags this year. These folks have the best seed collections at great prices with good delivery options.
Thank you so much for the encouragement! I really needed that today. I’m battling both aphids and fungus gnats. The aphids only appear on my chives so are easy to control but the gnats are driving me crazy. I am using cold pressed neem, peppermint and dish soap but will add rosemary. I’ve tried the apple cider vinegar for about a month and only caught three gnats. I just ordered the sticky traps. I needed this encouragement today 🪴😊❤️
I really love this series. I ordered the indoor Garden Seed Collection and Smart pots. Very impressed with the quality. Hopefully you are going to make a gardener out of me.😊
Had to search awhile to find this video I saw a couple years ago when I was researching fungus gnats; I’m curious, what do your more recent videos omit the rosemary oil? Thanks -always- for sharing the education!
Kim thanks for the awesome Tips I am growing some Indoor plants as well It has really keep me occupied until I am able to get back outside In the garden last gardening season I had some trouble with aphids on my shrubs It seemed like when ever I got rid of them on my shrubs they ended up on something else In my garden I guess that's just how It goes sometimes
Hi, I have my Tiny Tim tomatoes growing in a greenhouse with no heat under a grow light which does produce a little heat would it be beneficial to use a heat pad underneath them?
Hi I love to watching all your videos. It's so relaxing and encouraging. I am living in scranton, pennsylvania. In summer time squirrel ruins all my plants so can you give me some tips and tricks to how to save my plants from chipmunks. Thank you.
Was curious about spraying this on herbs. I have these tiny, black chewing worms on my outdoor herbs. So if using this mixture on them, do you just wash them of before consuming them? Is neem safe to consume --- incase there's any residual product left on them? Thanks for the great videos and inspiration:)
I've a tiny Terrace garden and i'm having huge problem with bugs. Lot of them at the same time. Thus I'm spraying neem oil twice a week now. It's so irritating. Although I've yellow sticky pads to stop them but they keeps coming. Ugh...

Thanks for the tips. I just learned adding rosemary oil will kill spider mites on contact which has helped my garden tremendously 🤓
