You flew directly over the marina where I bought a 42ft yacht in 2011 and sailed it back to Australia. It was good to see all of that area again from the air. I also have a GA licence and learnt to fly in 1990 in a Cessna 150 aerobat and 172.
@@SigisTravelVideos A lot of what a learnt as a pilot transferred across to sailing the Pacific. Steering a 42ft yacht in a marina is much like taxiing a tail dragger. You get prop walk. Knowing a bit about radios, meteorology and navigation also helps. Being the one in command, and remembering things like Aviate, Navigate Communicate. All this is good training.
@@charliebrown4624 Wow, quite an adventure sailing a 42 ft yacht across the Pacific, and yes, knowledge about meteorology and navigation comes in handy.
Very nice beautiful and thank you so much to show amazing places for the viewers.
Thank you for watching the video!
@@SigisTravelVideos thanks alot

Awesome, are you still flying?
@@SigisTravelVideos Regretfully no. Those days are behind me.
@@charliebrown4624 - Too bad, but sailing is fun too.
