    Thanks for this - a helpful breakdown as always!
    2:30 My thought exactly. I’m sure it’s a feature not a bug, but if I ran the circus it would only retain the order for earlier columns if you had subtotals on, and otherwise sort the whole thing. Likewise for sorting on values.
    That said, you can always wrap the whole thing in a SORT / SORTBY if needed (with a little care if there are headers in the output).

      Yeah wrapping with SORT is an option. I would prefer to see a switch argument in the GROUPBY function though. sort_mode={1=pivot table; 2=table}

      Good idea!

    Sir, Iam not able to see Groupby function even though I opted for insider updates. Can you please guide?

      Hi, please check in the Account tab of Excel:
      - You are signed up for Microsoft 365 Insider
      - You are signed up for the Beta channel within Insider
      - Go to "Update Options" and select "Update Now"
      If you still can't see the new functions after doing this and restarting Excel, it's a case of Microsoft rolling out the new functions to smallish groups of users at a time. This is totally normal for Beta channel, so a little patience may be needed. 👍

    How long has Excel Labs been around and why have I not been using it? The formulae are getting so big these days, this add-in seems to make it so much more readable. Thanks for the run-through, this hasn't come through on my Beta channel yet but I only just got python so it may take a minute.

      Excel labs has been around for quite a while (used to be called Advanced Formula Environment).
      It has three tools in it at the moment:
      1) Advanced Formula Environment (this is what I used in the video)
      2) LABS.GENERATIVEAI function
      3) Python Editor (for use with Python in Excel)
      Both 1 and 3 use features from VS Code for their editors, so you can press Ctrl+Shift+"+" to increase the font size. I figured it's easier to see on a video so I tried to make it as big as possible while keeping the stuff on the worksheet visible.
      In case it's useful here's a list of shortcuts I've tested in AFE.

      @@flexyourdata I love how it looks in the video. Would definitely make things more readable on the FMWC live streams to see some of those LAMBDAs in detail
