I revisited this video and wow! My Eufy HomeVac S11 got same 24 nozzle cfm on medium power. Altough that turbine head seems to cause a lot of airflow loss in the DC26.

The "clean air turbine" as they called it has quite the tradeoff we see large losses of airflow in the DC-11, DC-22, DC-26 and I think the DC-39. There's two benefits to it thought, 1 objects do not pass through the turbine 2. The brush doesn't stop when the airflow from the floor is cut off. Is that worth the lack of cleaning performance? I don't think so I'd rather use a TK286

It is a nightmare in other ways - trying to get filter out by pushing button doesn't work! I have to bash it to get it open and that is after multiple tries! The thing I like best is the washable hepa filters, but it is almost impossible to get to them!

sounds like quite a pain. I recall one of the 26s being somewhat hard to open but I don't recall it being needing to bash on it hard.

24 cfm that’s crazy i expected like 50 or 60cfm but I understand it’s a small machine they had to sacrifice the power

I've sampled 3 other Dyson canisters with turbine heads so I wasn't horribly shocked by this. I knew that the 26 had a lower airwatt rating than the others but looking at the other models with their brushrolls on we had: DC-11: 38 CFM DC-22: 28.76 CFM DC-39 38.52 CFM

Interesting and cool little canister. Kind of sad that the airflow is horrible. My mains powered Shark Rocket (500w) stick vacuum got 45 cfm from the nozzle and it feels weak when using it on medium pile carpeting. This Dyson must feel super weak when vacuuming any pile carpeting LOL. Again very interesting to see these tests👍

The shark has the advantages of a short, simpler airpath and having an electric nozzle. You are correct though this definitely doesn't feel strong on any carpet.
