I feel so sorry for her death, she made me fall in love with vampires. I will never forget her and her art.💖💖💖
I honestly don’t remember the first time I saw this movie. I know I was roughly 10 and my mom rented it for us to watch. She had already seen the movie and loved it but didn’t own it and she knew I loved vampires so she figured I’d like it. Sitting there with my mom watching this might sound strange but I grew up watching a lot of more mature films so this was pretty tame. The entire tale of adventure and gothic horror had me glued to the screen and when it ended I felt like the interviewer. I wanted more this couldn’t be the end! I absolutely love everything about this film it is a timeless classic in my eyes and vampires have never been so interesting in film since.

So many brilliant minds, skills and creative, off the chart thinking brought this novel to life... loved the book and the film and enjoying hearing the people involved talk about their experiences and thoughts about getting the whole project into the light
I just came here to check how they did the cancing on the tunnel's ceiling scene. Not that I didn't know about that old trick (using a spinning set), but in this case, the tunnel looks SO real, so aged and convincing, that I was super impressed they took the time and effort to achieve such a perfect replica for such a small scene. The only thing that gives it away is the fact that the camera suffers from minor vibration due to the whole mechanism, but they could fix it now if they wanted with digital stabilizing. Amazing film that, just like vampires, hasn't aged one bit.
No wonder Tom doesn't want to reprise the role. Anne was basically bullying him, even the fans, people are so ignorant. l love this movie, but reading The Vampire Chronicles, the movie was like a watered down version of the book. The book was more gruesome. For example, in the movie, Claudia just cut his throat and didn't want blood on her dress. But in the book, Claudia slash his throat, stab him in the chest, and bitten him, so many times that the room was almost covered in blood, and when it's done, she was covered in his blood, and didn't care. And they suck their victims dry and sloppy, whereas in the movie, they did it proper and clean. And they didn't even cry or sweat blood.
