I have no experience with Aquarian heads, but I think that one sounded the best. though to be an accurate across the board test, it should have been the Evans clear ec2 up against the other two.
Larry Tate Not exactly. Remo has the worst coating. It flew off after 5 minutes of playing on my snare drum. I have played the Aquarian Response II for a year now. Coating is still on.
Not anymore. That hasn't happened for me in a couple years now. The vintage Remo heads have even thicker than regular but I've been using a regular costed ambassador on my snare for a while now and coated has not begun to wear. I know what you're talking about that a few years back I got quite a few heads where the costing was like baby powder but not for a while now.
Larry Tate This is the case for your drumheads. A friend of mine has Remo Emperors. He has had them for 4 Months now and he doesn't nearly hit as hard as me, but those heads look just as old as my 1-year-old Aquarians.
How can you compare drum heads muffled?!
Agreed. Who puts moongels on a Performance 2 head?
He's clearly never heard of gating. :)
But seriously...isn't a Performance 2 pre dampened by design? More focused?
yes, it is! it can be compared to a pinstripe from remo c:

Yes that's right. EC2 is in line with pinstripes.
Aquarians better all around but coated maybe be better
Aquarian hands down. It was between Aquarian and Evans but then he played the evans with the whole kit and i just didnt like it. Poor Remo
영상 잘 봤어요~~^^ 갠적으론 에반스만 쓰고 있어요 ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
The king of heads is the one with the crown. Look for the crown, no crown, no sale.

Should not be playing heads for over a year.

Tell that to my parents
You need Remo emperor to compare with an Evans G2! The pinstripe is remos most dead head.
Is that a tiny port hole in the snare head?
Aquarian has more punch but it's usually up to the drummer on what sound they prefer, I would go for the Evans head.
Aquarian all day gents
Maybe Aquarian.
G2
Evans
EVANS.
I think Remo sounds better. It sounds dryer than Aquarian and Evans.
