Such a divine & melodious voice! Disgusting to see that there are many thumbs down? Wonder whether they have his concerts live. I have been fortunate to attend. Wonder whether they know music & if they know, how to appreciate his rendition.
My God! Extremely excellent! completely lost in the flow of divine melody. what a consistency in the wholesome presentation- swara, saahitya and laya! really amazing, never get tired of hearing again and again. A lots of thanks to the uploader.
Ofcourse this is one of his(Maharajapuram Santhanam) many great renditions...his mastery over raga, delivery and voice provide delight to listeners...We miss such greats today....
It is a great blessing if one could hear this and enjoy the mesmerising impact. Life is worth living to experience the delight . Eternally grateful to Maharajapuram Santhanam. Mohan Sundara Rajan
Wonderfully rendered the Mohanam by one of the great musician Shri Maharajapuram Santhanam and feel like hearing again and again. We miss such a great artist. God bless his soul.
this voice is made for CARNATIC MUSIC... the consummate skill of the musician's delivery & rendition makes it all the more pleasant to hear, more so the SADHANA behind it. SANGEETA KALAANEDHE LATE SREE MAHARAJAPURAM SANTHANAM was undoubtedly the 'legend' of his times. his early demise created an unfilled void in the field of fine music.
Some body commented’we have been orphaned,by seeing the comments my tear’s filled with water, very great artist, I am 70 not seen or heard his song, the person seen are really very fortunate
Especially in his master piece Mohanam he takes us to a transcendent mode! It takes some time to come back to normal status. I recollect the joyous mesmerising moments of hearing this stalwart in person many no.of times!Kudos to the mrudangist who has sung the song along in the instrument. GOD BLESS
The great maestro is my favourite singer. I forget the world when I listen to his songs. I love to hear mohanam, hindolam , naatai raagas. I pray to God to give me long life to listen his music🎼🎵🎶
Only Maharajapuram has such a beautiful, rich voice that conveys the raaga's essence with so much authenticity. His voice will live in our hearts for ever!
6nce when santhanam went to see mahaperiava,HErequested him to singthis song .santhanam sang this.He was told to stayovernightandn on the next morning when he was to start,PERIAVAwanted to hear this song oncemore;santhanamwas blessed.
Great. Mind gone to those ever green days. I am really blessed to be living in his era. I forget myself and mind always traveling along with Sri Santhanam rendering

But the classiic scholarship of SANTHANAM was though short lived,.but he created a storm in music circle by his wonderful journey. The cruel hands of fate snached him from us what a loss for us, the ardent lovers of carnatic music-V.S.SIVARAMAN, age 71, Hyderabad.
My request is to who commented before.. You all should be listen this amazing keerthana ruclips.net/video/TdghsPmRURE/видео.html the hope will be no mahanubhavulu should be missed.
The purpose of the devotional songs is to use them as a means to salvation, I bet thyagraja swami would feel more offended if we sang without understanding the bhavam even if the song is sung perfectly as carnatic purist would consider.
no disrespect! I am not famous as the singer. not even comparable. they are proved legends. but to say this as the greatest version is very sad!! there are a lot sahitya mistakes. when it clearly is a 'pa' in the swara, why do such famous carnatic musicians make it 'ba'. don't know where to stop and not sure what the meaning of the words they pronounce.
No one speaks like exactly same.. Even I can't speak exactly like my own mother.. I am thinking it's same to you.. If it's comes to devotion.. God will take care. Thanks for proving you are human. God bless you 💙heart
@@sriramkudarla75 again.. It is not about how I speak. I never questioned the devotion or if God will accept this masterpiece. It indeed is good. My premise is "if the Sahitya changes, the vibrations change and hence the music." In our tradition music is not just a bunch of soothing sounds. There is backend Sahitya involved and should we not respect it. Thanks for proving pseudo liberal. 😂 God bless you too my dear. (sugar coating the word stupid doesn't make it any less good to hear). Again.. I am no intelligent. My point is what will happen if this continues.. The grammar, the inner meaning. You can only understand if you are aware of nuances of Sanskrit or telugu or any other such languages.. Even Tamil. The meaning of the word changes accoording to context.. Ex: mahanubhava - maha means great.. But when you pronounce it as maga - it means masculine.. 😋. So what does maganubhava mean.. A new word to me..
@@nikhilwat actually we are hitting the Mountain.. I either side.. You opposite side.. Please kindly think.. If he sung infront of God, we don't have no right to tell others mistakes.Even lord Brahma has no right. (In my opinion it's not mistake how he sung based on my intelligence) and also they are lot of people who read the comments. Unknowingly my heart little bit suffered.. I am also like you know 🤦♂.that's for your blessings:)
@@sriramkudarla75 Hehe.. I was being funny bro.. But at same time.. Tried to convey my feeling.. Will remove my comments.. If you feel bad. We are in this together.. No hard feeling. Really sorry if any of my words hurt. Did not mean it..
