    I was very impressed with this how to, I needed to learn the basics for smart sheets and this tutorial was very easy to follow and understand. Really great if you want something that’s easy to digest and take your time to learn. I would advise having a handheld device as well as a desktop or laptop, if you download the app it doesn’t correspond to the tutorial so make sure you have the right equipment before you start to save time

    Hello Kandis, this is a really nifty tool. The cross between MS Project and Excel that it uses is perfect for most projects, and the fact that it is collaborative is really great. Thanks for the tutorial. I have been using MS Project since it was created and always felt it was overcomplicated for most projects, and did not provide options for collaboration. A new job that I am a top candidate uses Smartsheet extensively, so this training helped me to get a headstart for this job. Thanks for the tutorial, I plan to wander through some of your other presentations.

    Thanks, I took a Systems Analysis and Design course last spring that I would say overlaps with the principles of Project Management by 80% to 90%, so it's great that you showed everyone another tool available to use for project management. This seems like a pretty simple and powerful tool probably more suited for waterfall type tasks (not a bad thing- it just depends on the project and philosophy of the organization where their workflow is on the Waterfall to Agile continuum).

    Thank you for this video clip. I have a question for you with this program. I usually receive a weekly schedule to work, but it suddenly stopped to come in the weekly schedule. Do you know why it happened? Did I touch something so it happened? Please instruct me how to fix this problem. Thanks.

    • @LearnitTraining
      @LearnitTraining  Месяц назад +1

      It sounds frustrating to have your weekly schedule suddenly stop coming through in SmartSheet. There could be a few reasons why this happened:
      Email Notifications: Ensure that email notifications are still enabled for your weekly schedule. Sometimes, settings can be accidentally changed.
      Permissions: Check if you still have the necessary permissions to access the sheet or report. If permissions were altered, it might affect your notifications.
      Filters and Views: Verify that the filters and views on your sheet or report haven’t been changed. This can sometimes affect what gets included in your weekly schedule.
      Automation Rules: If your schedule relies on automation rules, make sure those rules are still active and correctly configured.
      To troubleshoot and fix the issue, you can follow these steps:
      Check Notification Settings:
      Go to the sheet or report in SmartSheet.
      Click on the “Automation” menu and select “Manage Workflows”.
      Ensure that the workflow for sending the weekly schedule is active and correctly set up.
      Verify Permissions:
      Check the sharing settings of the sheet or report to ensure you still have access.
      If you don’t have the necessary permissions, contact the sheet owner or admin.
      Review Filters and Views:
      Open the sheet or report and check if any filters are applied that might exclude certain data.
      Adjust the filters or views as needed to include all relevant information.
      Check Automation Rules:
      Go to the “Automation” menu and review the rules set up for sending the weekly schedule.
      Ensure the rules are still active and configured to run at the correct times.
      If you’ve checked all these settings and the issue persists, it might be helpful to reach out to SmartSheet support for further assistance.

    At the 19:00 mark a cost column is suddenly displayed without a clear explanation of how to add it. Also, in project settings "Resource Management" shows as an option under Dependency Settings but that does not show up in my Project Settings popup. Question: Is there a way to add the Cost column and how do I add resource management to the project? Thank you.

    it is very hard to follow, too many repeated words and the voice tone plus some common sense instruction, this easily fits 10min presentation at best

    • @lawrencemartins709
      @lawrencemartins709 3 года назад +2

      Hey Miroslav, if I were you I would consider asking for a full refund because the time you spent wasn't worth the money you paid to attend the training.
      If you can't follow because of an issue with the stuff sitting between your ears then that's something no one can hep you with.
      This training was very clear with the right emphasis in the right areas you probably are just as thick as two planks that you were unable to grasp what you were being told.
      The cheek of you to criticize someone who has taken the time to share their knowledge and expertise for no cost. Sure, there's a company behind this but you didn't have to watch the video did you?
      If you think you can do any better then go ahead and create your own presentation on Smartsheet and drop your link here for us to objectively review it - but I'm sure you won't.
      I normally pass on on trolls but your statement is so far off the mark it's beyond ridiculous.
      You're Miroslav, you are simply ignorant, unappreciative and rude.
