I got a better cameo this year 11:28 with Matt Davis! Seriously want to thank you for making an incredible recap video of the race. I attempted to eat lunch while watching it and butterflies came back seeing the wind sand storm. Love this race and everyone running or hosting it. Thank you Tough Mudder and Sean.C
6:41 basically a sandstorm. that's awesome. most would stop and wait it out but tough mudders just see it as another obstacle in their way. would love to go through that
Would live to find anybody in Chicagoland area who wants to team up. I'm 61 but in better shape now than in my 40s and early 50s. Put on some weight from covid and an injury from a bad chiro adjustment in 2019. Sternal compression fracture. But I'm starting Back on the elliptical and treadmill in my apartment complex right now. And trying to do some pull downs curls. Etc.
+Sealy That's my problem with these world's toughest mudder competitions. 24 hours of running without stopping for food, sleep or going to the toilet. Unless the competitor who last the longest wins, I'm surprised at the lack of outrage at these contests.
+mat2000100 There is a tent city where if you need to sleep you can. Competitors who need to rest, or stop can do so in between laps (if you leave during a lap you are DQ'd) They have outhouses, and as a competitor you bring food to sustain you.
Wow...and I'm nervous about 12 miles in my first TM! Amazing.

Temperature was a big factor when I did the regular tough murder in Tahoe, a lot of fit thin people quit due to cold Temps.
Can you wear headphones during the race?
You could but they would get ruined in 2 secs
