All three bands have an awesome collaborative song together called Ryouran Resonance (from the FAMILY PARTY album release). 3 singers, 3 drummers, 3 bassists, and 5 guitars, and the styles of the three bands mix together awesomely. Hugely recommend it.
I don't know how correct I am but I read it once when I looked them up. That each member of Kiryu is based off the seven deadly sins so each one is a demon, and it explains the colors. Mahiro is purple for Pride, Hiyori is pink for Lust, Junji is blue for Sloth, Mitzsuki is Red for Wrath and Takemasa is Green for Envy. So many of their songs are really nice and others have horror elements while telling japanese folktales or urban legends if you will. Their ulter ego band My Dragon has been disbanded but yeah they were hilarious, when they did it. I too love the band have for a long time and it's so nice to see others who share that love for them.
I literally yelled "Oh god" out loud when you said Nijigen Complex skfnsk You should really really check out Kiryu's live performance of Kitsune!! Their vibe is a lot more intense live and some of their aspects that seem a but ridiculous on music video sets suit the stage really well.

My fav song, Majinai, doesn't have a music video but is worth a listen. And - warning - they aren't around anymore, but they're too beautiful to pass over.

Usually their label comes up with the costumes, based on the bands' concept for their newest release - if the band is signed to a decent one. And then the label can also afford to buy or rent the clothes from designers (there are designers who make clothes specifically for VK bands). Smaller and unsigned bands usually have to buy their clothes themselves. Which might be the reason why they do not last long (buying new costumes all the time is just very expensive)

You should react to a band called LM.C, their old songs show the pop punk/pop rock side of visual kei and their new stuff is a little different but still good. Some good old songs are "Oh My Juliet", "Boys and Girls", "88", "LIAR LIAR" and SUPER DUPER GALAXY. Their most recent songs are "Rainmaker"(spelled レインメーカー in Japanese) and "the BUDDA", unfortunately I don't think you can find full videos for those songs, only short teaser videos.

In my opinion, I think the most emblematic era in An Cafe's career ends in 2005 so I proposed those songs because they correspond to that time and they are more representative of Oshare Kei. I think after 2006 and going major the band lost its essence and their songs after that year are not memorable. This is just an opinion from someone who thinks their earlier work made a greater impact in the scene and on people than their work after 2006.
Please react to GacktJOB, especially "Lust for Blood" from the Diabolos live, the "Mizerable" video, and the "Redemption" video. Or the transition material in the Diabolos live and the Requiem et Reminescence live. If you want heavier stuff, I think you'd like the band D'espairsRay. Nijigen Complex is quite funny. Nijigen is pronounced like Nee-Jee-gen. It means two dimensional. So the title is two dimensional complex.
