You can replace the buttons WITHOUT disconnecting the airbag cable; so it's totally safe. I've just done mine. Thanks for the great DIY video!

Nothing. The cruise control is already there. Just replace the buttons to enable it

U must unplug the battery
nope. I have done it without disconnecting the battery. just make sure the key is on off position
