It definitely took a while, but it was fun to film! 😊 I am hoping to do a video on my organization once I get more organized. It used to be pretty easy to keep it under control but with all the new releases coming out it's hard to keep it all neat and orderly.
Mine have their own bin. It is ridiculous! I had to limit my orders to every 3 months. I think Lilac and Jaded and maybe Honey will be in my November order. Curious what the NKLA animal shelter one will be. I always buy that entire collection.

I suspect they get blinded by the beauty of certain glitters and how they press into the eyeshadow base as well as keeping the bill of materials low so the cost of the palette is not extraordinary. Not a justification. I would rather glitters be offered as a separate product so people who don't want them are stuck with those taking up real estate in a palette!

Yes I've heard the same thing. It's sad but I feel the same way. I want to enjoy them and it's hard when they release something else before I even get the last thing I ordered in the mail.

Only updates the packaging via re-releasing. I'm starting to lean more towards them nowadays.

In regards to the super shock shadows that dry out in the pallette, if you add a couple drops of VG (vegetable glycerin) to the shadow, using an eyedropper, it will bring back the moisture of the shadow. You don't have to mix or stir the shadow. Just add the drops and let them soak into the shadow.

The Element of Surprise palette really was a pleasant surprise to me 😁 it looks low-key odd in the pans, but once on the eyes, it's the bomb!! Same with the Take Me Home palette!! It's just a bunch of little standard neutrals, but I've been reaching for it a ton lately!

I ❤️ collection videos! Such comfort food for me, also they play into my nosy nature to know what people collect and use, lol. ColourPop def. makes some of my fave palettes. I got Good Sport based on your rec last year, and have been CP addicted since! Good Sport is my #1 still, but Through My Eyes, Uh-Huh Honey, It's My Pleasure, Just My Luck, and Brown Sugar are my other favorites. Also love my large custom BYOP one. I've been talking myself out of Sweet Talk since it dropped (the glitters turn me off) but I may give in around the holidays. Thank you for sharing, really loved this 😊

Good Sport is my all time favorite palette!! I rearranged mine into trios if the same color family and I loved it even more as I’m the type to do monochromatic looks. Blue Moon, Brown Sugar, and Just My Luck are my favorite 9-pans, although Orange You Glad is close behind

I love a good shimmer and colourpop makes them right! With that being said, I absolutely love the disney villians palette. I recently picked up the california love palette and I am also obsessed! I live pretty much everything I own honestly! LOL.
Omg I didn't realize all these palettes were discontinued. My favourite ones are You had me at hello and Give it to me straight. Mine are quite used now. I'd be so sad if I could not buy them anymore 😑
I'm so sad about You Had Me at Hello. When mine is finished or too old I'm sad I won't be able to repurchase! At least Give it to me straight is still there!
Just in case the shades from discontinued palettes might still be available as singles, you could replace those in your palette(s) since my understanding is that all of the pans are the pop-out magnetic kind. If a certain palette shade wasn't available as a single, you could perhaps replace it with something similar from their existing singles' offerings. Just a thought! 😊

I just picked up the Fame palette about two weeks ago and it is already in one of my all time favorite palettes. I don't know why I waited so long. You've been saying how great it is for a long time now. (Note to self: always listen to Jen. She knows what she's talking about. Lol)

Rendezvous catches my eye for the blue and the cool brown underneath it, that’s what I would pair it with rather than the orangey or using it alone. I just like those tones of blue and brown together, I find it inspiring to see color pairings even if I can’t get the palette! Thank you for this! My next blue and brown jewel eye will be due to you, lol.
Really good to see the whole collection. I love the way you did the singles at the end with the labels on the swatches. Very helpful! I’m from Canada & CP brand are only mail order. Swatches like you show and your reviews are the only way I’d buy CP. I’m on vacation and made it to an Ulta the day before we boarded the cruise but unfortunately they didn’t have any Fame or in fact any Colourpop there. I would have bought it if they had it.
Thanks, Jen! What I took away from this is BYOP to get more targeted wants for an eyehsadow collection. You then avoid the Super Shock dry-out and the pressed glitters if you don't want them (I am there with ya). CP definitely goes to the same color stories over and over with minor variations. If you like the teals and peaches with neutrals thrown in, get Dream St. If you want a little bit of everything in the rainbow but toned down a bit, get So Jaded. And then you really don't "need" anything else. It's just a matter of whether you like neutrals or colorful shades more of the time.
Call me a blasphemer but I took the colors that I liked from Brown Sugar and California Love and combined them in the California love palette and removed the ones I don't like.
I contacted Colorpop about the Fame palette as I had been thinking about buying it, and they are phasing it out. I have it in my ULTA cart right now, but it might be gone before I go ahead and order.

I own three CP palettes - All I see is Magic (Ipsy was selling this last spring?); it’s my pleasure (never use, the purples are too red toned for me) and Fame - which is in my top 5 palettes. Nothing else like it in my collection. Great video!
Colourpop really ought get over their SoCal-obsession and create some new California palettes: the Northern California palette, full of cooler-toned misty cream and gray shimmers for the coastal fogs, rich redwood browns and deep forest greens, soft cloudy lichen greens too and misty gray-blues for the northern Pacific ocean...oh and of course an amazing sienna red for the Golden Gate Bridge! And then they also need to do an Eastern California palette...think of the colors you can dream up from the granite outcroppings and iridescent waters of Yosemite, the green-gray contours of the Sierra Nevadas, the dreamy, desert-tinged Owens Valley and Owens Lake, the dusty elevations of the White Mountains and the ancient bristlecone pine forest. Mmmmmm.

Thanks for posting this. I think that your custom monochromatic palettes look very wearable. Also, I didn’t know that Good Sport and Chasing were limited edition and have never heard of a majority of those other pslettes. I have a med dark complexion with yellow/olive undertones. My typical colors are like those in the All is Good palette so I am looking to branch out in color and makeup looks. My favorite is Chasing Rainbows, and I am trying to decide between the Savaje, Through My Eyes, and the So Jaded palettes. I also am looking at the Here Comes the Sun as an alternative to Spicy Mami, but I would rather have Spicy .Mami (regrets).
Kathleen lights 'Dream st' is my fave color pop palette. I wear it for basic looks,glam looks, party looks and to go to work. Im medium deep olive neutral goes perfect with my complexion. Magical looks peach but goes on pink. Kaleidoscope looks goid as a highlight its a champagne greenish color very unique to me. The dream st lippie set too is awesome . I have to get Kathleen's other palettes. This video was very thorough and you have an excellent eye for spotting similar color schemes ...
So new to colourpop but I definitely appreciate your rundown! I own now a few of their super shock singles that I LOVE... but haven’t jumped at a palette yet. I’m sure that will happen soon 😜
I really enjoyed seeing all of your Colourpop palettes! 😊 💖 👍🏻 It's kinda' funny in that I don't own anything by CP, but instead end up admiring their palettes from afar. The color stories that speak to me the most are Good Sport, It's My Pleasure (the first purple/pink palette), & Just My Luck. I think the reason I haven't pulled the trigger is that I end up getting other palettes with similar vibes in the meantime, or that I like more, or I feel I can dupe shades well enough from my existing collection. I guess it saves some money in the end! Haha! 😂
Saving this video 😊 It’s such a well-organized video. I had never heard of colourpop until I got the first Disney collab last year. I mainly have the Disney palettes (though I’ve yet to try the masquerade one) and Fame and Double Entendre. I love Fame, but am not a huge fan of the princess and villains palettes. I think I’ve discovered that I like light cool tones and would have loved the Sweet Nothings palette. Despite Colourpop coming out with so many palettes, the way I see it is that I guess eventually they will come out with a color story I like since they churn out so many 😉 I want to look into making a palette, but I don’t wear enough color variation to know what I like and don’t like/what will look good or bad on me, besides neutrals 😬

I absolutely love the It’s A Princess Thing. It was my first Colourpop palette and I’m so glad it was. I just picked up Midnight Masquerade and I’m liking it so far. I just wish the glitters were shimmers. I do like the monochromatic palettes but I just don’t need any of them.
I am new to Colourpop. I only own two the monochromatic green Just My Luck and Mar. I do also have a few supershock. I am hooked and want to get all the monochromatic pallettes as well as Jaded. Plus a lot of singles. I buy a lot of singles from different brands and put together color stories I like. I so enjoy your videos we have the same coloring and hooded eyes. I have picked up a few tricks just from seeing how you do your eyeshadow.
Sometimes the best part about eye shadow palettes is touching them and swatching them and admiring the colors and the shifts. Makeup can be so therapeutic if you’re (subconsciously) using it as art or a creative outlet. I have the sweet talk pallette that I don’t really use for my eyes but looooove to swatch. So weird 😭

Can you do an in-depth video about colourpop different liquid lipstick formulas? I used to be able to differentiate between ultra matte, ultra satin, ultra blotted, and the 2 types of glosses. Just in case the shades from discontinued palettes might still be available as singles, you could replace those in your palette(s) since my understanding is that all of the pans are the pop-out magnetic kind. If a certain palette shade wasn't available as a single, you could perhaps replace it with something similar from their existing singles' offerings. Just a thought! 😊
My favourite eyeshadow from You had me at hello is DTR. I almost hit pan on this one. I would be so happy to find it as a single eyeshadow !
@@OlfactiveStories, I didn't see where DTR is available for sale as a single, but I recommend that you check out the Temptalia website for dupes. The first one that came up on their list was Antique Rose made by Sephora. Looking at their swatch photo, it does look pretty close,! 😉

The Villains Misunderstood is one of my faves due to the interesting color flips. My top 10 of 20: Fame, Sweet Talk, Brown Sugar, Misunderstood, Good Sport, Dream Street, Just My Luck, California Love, Zodiac, and You Had Me at Hello.
My favorite palette is the yes please I use it to create a warm orange eye look I love that and the good sport palette. This was a great video I really enjoyed all your hard work thank you 😊
I just thought how much the truly madly deeply looks like the too faced white peach palette, minus the glitters!

Rendezvous catches my eye for the blue and the cool brown underneath it, that’s what I would pair it with rather than the orangey or using it alone. I just like those tones of blue and brown together, I find it inspiring to see color pairings even if I can’t get the palette! Thank you for this! My next blue and brown jewel eye will be due to you, lol.

I’m from Canada & CP brand are only mail order. Swatches like you show and your reviews are the only way I’d buy CP.
I’m on vacation and made it to an Ulta the day before we boarded the cruise but unfortunately they didn’t have any Fame or in fact any Colourpop there. I would have bought it if they had it.
Thanks, Jen! What I took away from this is BYOP to get more targeted wants for an eyehsadow collection. You then avoid the Super Shock dry-out and the pressed glitters if you don't want them (I am there with ya). CP definitely goes to the same color stories over and over with minor variations. If you like the teals and peaches with neutrals thrown in, get Dream St. If you want a little bit of everything in the rainbow but toned down a bit, get So Jaded. And then you really don't "need" anything else. It's just a matter of whether you like neutrals or colorful shades more of the time.
Call me a blasphemer but I took the colors that I liked from Brown Sugar and California Love and combined them in the California love palette and removed the ones I don't like.
I've done that with a handful of palettes, too.

I own three CP palettes - All I see is Magic (Ipsy was selling this last spring?); it’s my pleasure (never use, the purples are too red toned for me) and Fame - which is in my top 5 palettes. Nothing else like it in my collection. Great video!
Colourpop really ought get over their SoCal-obsession and create some new California palettes: the Northern California palette, full of cooler-toned misty cream and gray shimmers for the coastal fogs, rich redwood browns and deep forest greens, soft cloudy lichen greens too and misty gray-blues for the northern Pacific ocean...oh and of course an amazing sienna red for the Golden Gate Bridge! And then they also need to do an Eastern California palette...think of the colors you can dream up from the granite outcroppings and iridescent waters of Yosemite, the green-gray contours of the Sierra Nevadas, the dreamy, desert-tinged Owens Valley and Owens Lake, the dusty elevations of the White Mountains and the ancient bristlecone pine forest. Mmmmmm.

Thanks for posting this. I think that your custom monochromatic palettes look very wearable. Also, I didn’t know that Good Sport and Chasing were limited edition and have never heard of a majority of those other pslettes. I have a med dark complexion with yellow/olive undertones. My typical colors are like those in the All is Good palette so I am looking to branch out in color and makeup looks. My favorite is Chasing Rainbows, and I am trying to decide between the Savaje, Through My Eyes, and the So Jaded palettes. I also am looking at the Here Comes the Sun as an alternative to Spicy Mami, but I would rather have Spicy .Mami (regrets).

Kathleen lights 'Dream st' is my fave color pop palette. I wear it for basic looks,glam looks, party looks and to go to work. Im medium deep olive neutral goes perfect with my complexion.
Magical looks peach but goes on pink. Kaleidoscope looks goid as a highlight its a champagne greenish color very unique to me.
The dream st lippie set too is awesome . I have to get Kathleen's other palettes.

I really enjoyed seeing all of your Colourpop palettes! 😊 💖 👍🏻 It's kinda' funny in that I don't own anything by CP, but instead end up admiring their palettes from afar. The color stories that speak to me the most are Good Sport, It's My Pleasure (the first purple/pink palette), & Just My Luck. I think the reason I haven't pulled the trigger is that I end up getting other palettes with similar vibes in the meantime, or that I like more, or I feel I can dupe shades well enough from my existing collection. I guess it saves some money in the end! Haha! 😂

Saving this video 😊 It’s such a well-organized video. I had never heard of colourpop until I got the first Disney collab last year. I mainly have the Disney palettes (though I’ve yet to try the masquerade one) and Fame and Double Entendre. I love Fame, but am not a huge fan of the princess and villains palettes. I think I’ve discovered that I like light cool tones and would have loved the Sweet Nothings palette. Despite Colourpop coming out with so many palettes, the way I see it is that I guess eventually they will come out with a color story I like since they churn out so many 😉 I want to look into making a palette, but I don’t wear enough color variation to know what I like and don’t like/what will look good or bad on me, besides neutrals 😬

I absolutely love the It’s A Princess Thing. It was my first Colourpop palette and I’m so glad it was. I just picked up Midnight Masquerade and I’m liking it so far. I just wish the glitters were shimmers. I do like the monochromatic palettes but I just don’t need any of them.
I wish they would stop with the glitters too. They aren't really eye safe and I wear contacts so I can't use them.

I am new to Colourpop. I only own two the monochromatic green Just My Luck and Mar. I do also have a few supershock.
I am hooked and want to get all the monochromatic pallettes as well as Jaded. Plus a lot of singles. I buy a lot of singles from different brands and put together color stories I like.
I so enjoy your videos we have the same coloring and hooded eyes. I have picked up a few tricks just from seeing how you do your eyeshadow.

Sometimes the best part about eye shadow palettes is touching them and swatching them and admiring the colors and the shifts. Makeup can be so therapeutic if you’re (subconsciously) using it as art or a creative outlet. I have the sweet talk pallette that I don’t really use for my eyes but looooove to swatch. So weird 😭

Can you do an in-depth video about colourpop different liquid lipstick formulas? I used to be able to differentiate between ultra matte, ultra satin, ultra blotted, and the 2 types of glosses. But now I think they have lux liquid? And more on the traditional lipsticks which I can no longer follow 😥 thanks in advance!
