I'm a librarian in Ireland and we are getting tons of picture books on the transgender agenda promoted by the city hall itself ( Healthy Ireland programme). We keep the natural reproduction picture books at the desk ( only parents can request them) but we keep these new woke ones highlighted in a display. I tried to reason with my manager... Lost the battle. Don't even get me started on witchcraft books for kids... And I don't mean Harry potter.
Lord have mercy. I know it seems the world is falling apart. Our is it really falling into place. God is in control. I have to constantly tell myself that to feel better. And bc is true.
I worked as a Library clerk 12 years from 2000. I see the release of Harry Potter as the gateway to more witchcraft and dark series. It has continual lying by the characters and actual witchcraft spells(as reported to me), and sadly is embraced by many Christians. In my view, Harry has become a “sacred cow” of lit. not to be questioned. I’ve observed vulnerable young people of Christian families enthralled and now these same young adults swallow all sorts of cultural deceptions. Lord come quickly, so many are walking into apostasy.
Excellent interview. When the gay marriage argument was happening in California, one of the lead attorneys admitted to an interviewer, in the halls outside the court room, that the objective was NOT marriage, it was getting homosexuality into schools and text books to normalize the behavior to the up and coming generations. That was always the objective.

Yes! We need to protect the children! EVERYONE Hetero or gay need to LEAVE them alone! Let children be children and we need to stop the abuse of children under 18 making serious sometimes permanent decisions when they are NOT emotionally prepared. Even taking hormone therapy should be illegal! It causes physical AND emotional harm to anyone taking them Jesus please save the children

I just want you to know that today is a very challenging day in my country, Hungary, as more than 7 million citizens are electing a new goverment and at the same time we are voting for new laws that would ensure that it's exclusively the parents' right to sexually educate their children and would not allow any groups or organizations to promote lmbtq agenda at schools, kindergardens, etc. I'm so excited! In retrospect… 15 years ago, I never would have believed what is taking place in schools, on TV, in cartoons, commercials and media.. but then again, there is nothing really new (sin) under our sun. Becket, I DID (see it coming 10+ yrs. ago). I said so on FB, I said "They're going to try to render gender neutral" (meaning we can be whatever...). Almost everybody laughed, a good Church of Christ pastor (he's genuinely good and lives in a very blue state) said "It'll NEVER HAPPEN!!!" I wasn't alone, but I suppose those of us were a minority. So many today have grandiose estimation of their own intelligence, gosh we're so arrogant (we don't think so!). Anyway...I just paused listening to make that declaration, lolol. Becket, I just listened to this again. I’ve since listened to his audiobook and actually had an opportunity to recommend it to Douglas Murray when I met him at a conservative event; he wrote it down. That was last summer hopefully it planted some seeds as he’s really been wrestling with his atheism. Listened to this again today, playing it for my 16yo son…so good for giving him a bird’s eye view of what’s happening in the world!! Listening again your questions are just SO GOOD!! You literally summarized the book and brought out the main bullet points & followed the trajectory of history and this convergence, he posits, that we’re living in!! Bravo!!!!

Literally reading the book right now. I'm about a third of the way through and I love it! It is interesting to see that where we are is not by accident, but centuries and decades and years of getting the soil ready for planting these kind of self identity seeds. The looking within to our own natures, as opposed to an external transcendent truth, is certainly dangerous since our natures are sinful. We are by no means noble savages; we are just savages without the redemptive work of Christ. I really wish people understood the truth about human depravity and the need to look outside ourselves to a holy God. May God grant us a revival and true repentance within our nation. And yes, may the Christian Community grow stronger together that we might be able to stand together against the assaults that will surely come. Thanks for this interview! Peace

Becket, I met you this past weekend in PA (I think I was the last one in line to say hello after your second breakout session). As I said then, it was great to finally meet you after following on youtube the past couple of years. What a great conversation. Lots to learn from both of Gentlemen. I really liked the following points 1. Separate the individual from the political movement (lgbtq). Lgbt is not a sexual identity… ( although it’s marketed as such…. - my comment) 2. Homosexuality is “preached” by the artistic class 3. The Church should become a stronger knit, Loving community, to out-welcome the lgbt community which( apparently), is close knit and loving to its members… 4. To the lgbt individual who asks, tell what the Bible teaches, and how it makes sense that it would teach just that. Thank you , bold and brilliant. I’ll be getting this book.

My son has to start kindergarten this August. I’m sad about it. We used to just be sad because children start school. Now we (parents) get sad about it because of what they may be exposed to while there.
There are many homeschooling and online schooling options. You don't have to send your children to government schools if you don't want to. Don't be sad, make another choice if you prefer another choice. I was homeschooled and I homeschool my children and I am so happy with it. I have a happy marriage, happy relationships, 3 college degrees. There are other good educational options.
Let’s stand praying around the children, schools, teachers and parents. It’s not for everybody a possibility to homeschool. I pray for wisdom for you, Angela, in raising a child in these rough times 🙏 Have you ever heard of moms in prayer groups? Hello, Beckett. Loved the conversation! Beckett, can you do a podcast on the literature aimed at children? Our granddaughter acquired some comic books titled, "Lumberjanes". Thankfully, the Holy Spirit "flagged" something in me to look into the books. What I found resulted in a loving discussion in why the messages in them were teaching her to live outside God's design. ( She is 10). She gave up the 2 she had willingly. She told me a classmate introduced them to her. I am sure there is more than these books, sadly out there "grooming" our children. The message most troubling is that they are not good enough as they were born. That "different" ,(LGBTQ) is better, more fun, more exciting than the Creator's design.
It’s encouraging and refreshing to hear a thoughtful, intelligent teaching of the truth. You and your guests have a mind towards strengthening the church in faith and reaching the lost. There is a way that seems right to a man but the end result is death…they are all waiting for us to show them why and how God is better and the ways he has for his creation are wiser. I pray that we help them take upon the easy yoke of Christ and do not hoist heavy burdens upon those lost ones or each other. We are sons of God who are working the fields until the Lord returns to set all things right. Bless you if you’re reading this!

My son has to start kindergarten this August. I’m sad about it. We used to just be sad because children start school. Now we (parents) get sad about it because of what they may be exposed to while there.

yes, please! you have choices, you don't need to send them to school.
There are many homeschooling and online schooling options. You don't have to send your children to government schools if you don't want to. Don't be sad, make another choice if you prefer another choice. I was homeschooled and I homeschool my children and I am so happy with it. I have a happy marriage, happy relationships, 3 college degrees. There are other good educational options.
Don't allow your child to be exposed. YOU are the only one to protect him!
Let’s stand praying around the children, schools, teachers and parents. It’s not for everybody a possibility to homeschool. I pray for wisdom for you, Angela, in raising a child in these rough times 🙏 Have you ever heard of moms in prayer groups? That’s a group of moms standing in prayer around their children and their school. Now needed more than ever!
Just one question - how much smarter do you feel sitting in the presence of Dr. Carl Trueman? 😉 (well, almost presence) I almost feel smarter listening to him & reading his book! Hello, Beckett. Loved the conversation! Beckett, can you do a podcast on the literature aimed at children? Our granddaughter acquired some comic books titled, "Lumberjanes". Thankfully, the Holy Spirit "flagged" something in me to look into the books. What I found resulted in a loving discussion in why the messages in them were teaching her to live outside God's design. ( She is 10). She gave up the 2 she had willingly. She told me a classmate introduced them to her. I am sure there is more than these books, sadly out there "grooming" our children. The message most troubling is that they are not good enough as they were born. That "different" ,(LGBTQ) is better, more fun, more exciting than the Creator's design.
It’s encouraging and refreshing to hear a thoughtful, intelligent teaching of the truth. You and your guests have a mind towards strengthening the church in faith and reaching the lost. There is a way that seems right to a man but the end result is death…they are all waiting for us to show them why and how God is better and the ways he has for his creation are wiser. I pray that we help them take upon the easy yoke of Christ and do not hoist heavy burdens upon those lost ones or each other. We are sons of God who are working the fields until the Lord returns to set all things right. Bless you if you’re reading this!
