They are a piece of art that is meant to be shared, and it's unfortunate that most supercar owners hide away and baby their cars. It defeats the point! They are meant to inspire and bring joy to people!

40 anni di Ferrari che solo il grande ENZO ha saputo plasmare in quello che oggi è diventato il sogno più comune a tutte le persone del mondo!!! La F40 non basta solo averla, non basta solo poterla guidare (come hanno fatto in questo video) , lei ha un carattere duro ed estremo e per poterla portare al suo massimo livello devi essere geneticamente predisposto da riuscire a domarla , perché in lei non ci sono controlli elettronici pronti a farti gestire l'ingestibile in lei non esiste nulla , ci sei solo tu che devi saper gestire la sua enorme esuberanza . La F40 racchiude lo spirito dell'ITALIA di un tempo...tanto piccola , ma potente rigogliosa completa ed invidiata da tutto il mondo !!
Hai sintetizzato in 8 righe l'identità di quella macchina ed in più la voglia di primeggiare come Nazione nonché come Italiani negli anni '80 di fronte ad altre nazioni, ora blasonate. Questa era l'Italia di quegli anni e soprattutto gli Italiani di quegli anni. Ciao Grande

Ciao Marco ,ascolta: Enzo Ferrari era solito dire che la sua macchina più bella era quella che doveva ancora costruire, ma. ...sapeva di essere arrivato alla fine del suo viaggio e la sua passione gli fece pensare, volere ed imporre qualcosa che non si era mai visto, qualcosa che non si sarebbe più potuto fare, qualcosa che non si poteva eguagliare, qualcosa che non si poteva imitare (se non pallidamente ). ..qualcosa che sarebbe stato un nuovo inizio perché ha anche dichiarato che la Ferrari sarebbe vissuta anche dopo di lui. F 40 ,acronimo di 40 anni di Ferrari,è stato il canto del cigno di un uomo la cui vita è stata divorata dalla passione per l'auto . Una passione che ha saputo trasmettere ad un paese intero. The F40 was the first car I ever really fell in love with as a kid, and it is STILL a touchstone for supercar enthusiasts. A truly no-compromises, no-apologies machine for absurd speed. No overtures to comfort, or luxury -- totally visceral, totally singular in purpose. An amazing machine!

Highly entertaining! OK, so it wasn't particularly in-depth like evo magazine or TopGear would do, but it's very clear from the enthusiasm it generated in you (and the eccentric owner!) how exciting the car is, even to someone who doesn't have '80s nostalgia. It's clear what the emotional experience is like. Very much enjoyed watching, and well done for both of you talking in your second language 99% of the time for us!
