You mention 8 out of 10 the fish takes your lure in the last 2 meters. Imaging what line resistance does, and what lure action looks like underwater when you try to bounce the bottom the same way all the time when the distance to the top of the rod decreases. I’m by no means a pro angler but I try to always imaging how much movement I create and try to learn to incorporate my line friction on a specific depth and distances to get the most attractive action. In your situation i imaging the action is more like the bait try’s to escape because the action is more direct now the friction is at its minimum. Thanks for sharing your videos I get lots of information from it.
It could be that the brushhogs mentioned @8:55 look like the lizards/geckos that are quite common among the rocks on the banks at pandan. The lizards/geckos are common on the jetty at penjuru side too and it could be that the PBs are reacting to the brushhogs as if they are those lizards that might have fallen into the water. On a side note, ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! ahahahah
don't people do drop shot fishing where you live" you can keep very small plastics in the kill zone as long as needed :) will have to try those cichla temensis bass one day as never catched bass" only keep in fish tanks :)
I have a couple specific questions I hope you can answer. What size cultiva grubs do you have? Also, what size and model paddle tails are those? The link to aliexpress doesn't work. I was able to find the link online, but they don't look at all like the ones in your video. What jig head hook size and weight are you typically using with the grubs and paddle tails? Also, where did you end up purchasing the beads? Sorry for all the questions, but I would like to get some micro rubber baits and would love to track down some cultiva grubs, the paddle tails, and the small version of the brushhogs. It seems like you are a busy guy, but I hope you can answer my questions. I'm checking in from USA (Connecticut). Thanks!
I think they are if you choose the right ones. You do get what you pay for, meaning at $2 per lure, there will be some QC issues here and there, but generally if you choose carefully, the lures from ali express are decent.
Go HALCO or the old KILLALURE if you can find. Strike Pro popper is better than Rapala. Aussies make the best Barra lures. Better than Raoala that can get easily destroyed ! Megabass is good but to bloody expensive and their plastic is not suitable on toothy fish !!!

Geek.wish.com is better
Hey BCSG, when convenient, could you do a video about tuning them as well? Thanks!
What type of lures do you recommend when fishing at LSR(lower seletar reservoir)? I personally use the fly.
Anyone have any advice for catching Kim / sea bass / barramundi like what type of lure to use
