    isnt yellow a primary color instead of green, cuz green can be made from blue and yellow?

      Weirdly the primary colours differ between art and physics. For light, the primary colours are red blue and green

    Keep making these it helps at lot thank you so much for your time. I have an app that I use to download music and I download your videos onto it. I listen to the ones I tend to forget or struggle with every morning before I go to college and after college as I have a long journey, its helps me remember. I’ve been doing it for almost two weeks now and I also revise.
    I was doing triple science higher but I recently moved down to combined higher so I’m really just trying to do the best of my ability and aim for a high grade to move on. Why not?🤷🏾‍♀️😊

    My whole life's been a lie
    I didn't know that the primary colours changes when it comes to physics-

    • @stanleymoss3877
      @stanleymoss3877 Год назад +9

      It’s because in physics it’s usually about the actual waves of light being emitted such as on a screen however in art pigments absorb every colour except the one they appear as. So if you mix all the primary colours in art it becomes a black-brown colour since many different wavelengths are being absorbed, but in physics since it’s talking about the act light not an object or pigment when all the primary colours mix it appears white

      @@Cognitoedu trouble is calling light colours is wrong, colour doesn't happen until it gets into the brain, the universe is grey. rods and cones detect energy levels and colour gets assigned later, light coming into the eye has no intrinsic colour.

    Actually, the spectrum doesn't go all the way to violet, it stops at blue. If we don't have a cone in our eyes for the colour we're looking at, we tend to see the colour in between two of the cones we do have, e.g. if we see red light and green light we might interpret it as yellow light. But in between blue and red on the spectrum is green, and if we happen to know we aren't looking at green because our green cone isn't firing, then our brain invents a colour, which is how we see purple.
