Karena ada beberapa faktor penyebab kebanyakan vokalist memenggal kata demi menarik nafas. Kontraversi pemenggalan kata, suku kata, dan kalimat dalam sebuah lagu. Hal ini memancing beberapa vokalist "bereksperimen" dalam menyanyikan sebuah lagu. 1. Bahasa Beberapa lagu (dlm hal lagu ini) jika telah di alih-bahasakan maka berpengaruh pada penulisan notasi. Jika kita refers ke lirik aslinya maka: 3 5 5 3 2 | 1 .2 4 3 As the deer panteth for the water S'perti rusa rindu sungaiMu Bisa kita lihat bahwa kata not "mi re do" ada di kata "panteth for" di bahasa Inggrisnya sementara di bahasa Indonesianya jatuh di penggalan "sa rindu", lalu di sambung "sungaiMu". Masalah pemenggalan pada kata: rindu dan sungaiMu memang selalu memancing kontraversi. Menurut saya, hal ini kontekstual. Karena ada beberapa faktor penyebab kebanyakan vokalist memenggal kata demi menarik nafas. Kontraversi pemenggalan kata, suku kata, dan kalimat dalam sebuah lagu. Hal ini memancing beberapa vokalist "bereksperimen" dalam menyanyikan sebuah lagu.
1. Bahasa
Beberapa lagu (dlm hal lagu ini) jika telah di alih-bahasakan maka berpengaruh pada penulisan notasi. Jika kita refers ke lirik aslinya maka:

Hal yang sama terlihat di beberapa bahasa yg grup vokal ini coba sajikan. Jika dinyanyikan menggunakan satu tarikan nafas, maka saya rasa mustahil jika ada curi nafas karena baris pertama pada lagu gak bisa dipenggal lagi even bakal putus di kata JIWAKU.
2. Not
Lagu di atas merupakan aransemen. Sekali lagi ini aransemen. Jika bertolak dari not aslinya maka ada titik di antara nada do dan re dimana titik itu adalah perpanjangan not do. Sementara dalam pemenggalan di bahasa Indonesia lebih bervariatif. Ada yang menambahkan titik ada yang tidak seperti yang dilakukan oleh Ken Steven yang mengkombinasikan penulisan titik di Cantus Firmus Voice sementara penulisan langsung ( Do ke Re) di Background Voice. Dalam lagu ini kaidah pengaturan nafas sudah bergantung pada kesepakatan vokalist dan arranger.
Kesimpulan saya, ini adalah suatu effort atau usaha yang sudah baik dari teman2 GKI. Memuji Tuhan tanpa batasan suku, bahkan negara adalah nilai yang saya peroleh dari lagu ini. Tuhan memberkati kita semua.
