Hi Mate,
The best practice is as a BA, to keep clam in the discussion,, and try to focus on roots and what is best given by SN recommended.
Conflict resolution is very tough sometimes because it is not about the tool sometimes it is about the user who agrees or does not agree. Again, we need to see and sit separately with both parties, understand the concerns and then bring then on the same page.
