CSDM 4 really focuses on Service as a base, same like ITIL 4. For ex: ITIL 3 never focused on Service. Is there any relevance in this or references why all of a sudden after 2018 or so service became the key. 2. Currently I am working with Ivanti service manager. Do you think there will be similar concepts in other ITSM tools also.
Hi Mate, 1. CSDM 4 really focuses on Service as a base, like ITIL 4. Forex: ITIL 3 never focused on Service. Is there any relevance in this or references to why service suddenly became the key after 2018 or so? LNG: Change is key which makes things move and the same happened to move from ITIL V3 to ITIL 4. To understand more you need to see the ITIL 4 principle. Now if I come to SN, yes the main need for CSDM is reporting and in the upcoming video, you will see that. 2. Currently I am working with the Ivanti service manager. Do you think there will be similar concepts in other ITSM tools? LNG: I have no idea mate about other tools but I think the same or other way other tools also use the Service Concepts.

Yes UR is optional. If you activate the plugin only then it will work, also OOTB work with HR & Incident only.
