I love how this comic is based off of Yellow Diamond's point of view. Maybe next time when and if they do another comic, it will be based off of Blue Diamond's point of view and they gather their memories and defeat White Diamond together.

Whites great sadness and Rage created giant diamonds but when it come to Pink, she was smaller than the rest of them,🤔 Also this may be a theory-

It’s fascinating to me to find alternate backstories and endings to Steven Universe that fans came up with, and to find alternate stories based on earlier theories before certain reveals (such as in “A Single Pale Rose”)! They fill my mind with so many creative ideas, and have a certain charm to them.
I’m only about 13 mins into this BUT I’m actually glad we all kinda drew the same conclusion about Pink. From the moment we were introduced to PD we knew she was wrong (I wonder if Rebecca will ever confirm it 🤔) We all though of how the other Diamonds must have first viewed her and tried relentlessly to correct her. It’s so sad to think about. And yet so amazing to watch her grow and mature and to become Rose 🌹😭❤️❤️

The background music, voice acting, design, and the story plot are amazing. I only wish this was the plot of the actual show, it would of made both Pink Diamond and Rose Quartz in accent (sort of in accent). And would of made it much more interesting. But I still do love the original plot, I just feel this could of been an interesting way to go with the story.
Heres what I think of corruption. The diamonds using their power together can destroy and create any gem they want, thats why jasper and the corrupted gems could be fixed. Blue diamond said the intention of the diamond damage on earth was to kill every gem there, but because pink hadn't attacked with them, thats why I think everybody got corrupted istead of killed. Like when you dont delete a file on your computer correctly. Because remember how steven corrupted himself. He didn't get any diamond damage but since he is a diamond he might have attacked himself with that power. and if thats the case... did steven try to kill himself (or at least his gem half?)
I love this story plot! This is so much better than what the cannon went. The whole plot was leading up to this, they way they went practically ruined the whole story. Thank you for making the story that fits the plot SO MUCH BETTER. 🙏🏻

While the design itself isn't as memorable, this version of White Diamond is way better than what we got in the show. It feels like there's a REASON behind her actions, as opposed to Canon, where her being such a control freak isn't given any explanation. Nothing beyond "Just because." That's a big reason why I didn't like the decision to 'redeem' her. Sure, there's the fact that what she did was so evil and genocidal. But also because we can't really appreciate the personal changes she went through; not when we barely understood who she was before.
I find this to be a far better twist than the whole Rose Quartz is Pink Diamond idea. It gives it far more weight to the tragedy of it. PD being RQ just made it feel more like PD was trying to run away from her responsibilities as a leader rather than wanting to preserve the organic life of Earth. Pearl may have say that Pink did everything she could as a diamond, but from what the memories Steven inherited from his gem, she seemed to have just made excuses after excuses without really telling the other diamonds what she actually wanted for her colony.
