Hi Gary. I noticed all the walnuts near the chicken coop and saw the boys trying to crack them. Looks like they're ready to open. If you put them in the drive way and drive over them every time you go and come, they will crack and you can collect them. Standard practice in Tennessee. Farm is looking great.

I am loving all the new babies on the farm. Shadow and the new calf are adorable of course. I am really hoping all the adults cows caught and that we will be seeing more calves soon. 💖💖💖
Thanks for the update. And If they get cold in the wild you think they hire a person to put up a wall or a heat lamp ? come on people think. All animals find a way to adjust to climate in some form or another. And the basketball court needs a little more sideline room. People hint hint have feet on the court.

I have a 6 year old hen that has survived several infections and crop surgery. She also had surgery fir egg peritonitis. I don't have the heart to put her back out in the coop so she's my house hen. She commandeers my recliner when I get up to do something in another room. She also chooses to lay in my lap. Best pet ever! Lays a rare egg under my dining room table. Brown leghorn. Has a 5 to 10 year life expectancy per the vet.
Shelby is your quality control girl. Lol
She has to make sure it's all safe for the rest of the animals.
I suggest the most famous Cherokee Chief John Ross as a name for the new calf, or Comanche. The babies are all doing so good.

Mr. Walker My parent God rest their souls used to use a solution but it is strong so when u use please open all ur windows that u can and it can be used in all machines and won't hurt hard wood or carpets here it is for you,
1/4 cup of vinegar
1/4 cup ammonia
A Table Spoon of Dawn dish soap
To a gallon of water .
Sears up in Indiana gave that recipe to my parents and I've used it all my life. Just please make sure ur windows are open .
Ps u can use this solution on anything in spray bottle ect but works awsome on floors.

I agree on the name Merle for a male donkey. We love ‘the Hagg’ here in our house. Speaking of names, how about Willie for the bull highland calf. Willie was a redhead in his younger days & the calf will have long flowing hair like Willie. Fits perfectly!

I really love all the different colors of the 80+ chickens you’ve moved outdoors. I may have said it before, but on our farm we just had white hands and rooster, and then my grandfather brought some “fighter roosters with the spurs quote and they were dangerous and when one of them chase down my baby sister, one day and I hollered for Daddy to come help, he was working in the dairy barn just on the other side of where we were and he came running when he heard me calling and just before that rooster got my baby sister, who was just toddling, but she could not outrun that silly rooster, and my dad just took one giant leap and drew back with his foot and
His boot, which were steel toed knock that rooster did in his tracks. He picked it up and took it to my mom and told her we could have chicken and noodles for supper. Lol. 👍🏻😀 My Dad was always my hero ♥️♥️ throughout my life❣️.
I also saw the new baby calf was looking exceptionally well fed and rounded out. In fact, I was surprised at how big He was getting to be, compared to the fact that not too long ago, it was just a skinny, gangly little guy barely able to stand up. I think we need to give Him a Name worthy of his build / stature. Also, I think he’s a very pretty color of a highland calf.❣️❣️👍🏻
You guys are really hit the mark Wes, your new babies being born on the farm recently. The baby Crea, shadow also is really filling out nicely and just running around and still hanging tight till his mother and is appropriately named. Sometime I would really like to know what the difference is between Honey and Mariposa, in terms of their build … Is Honey just looking like she’s so much more muscular because of her fir or her wool I guess I should say . Your body is so different between Honey and Mariposa.! and I think Shadow will be a spitting image of his fathers, body structure, rather than his mother’s!♥️

I figure as long as Cassie has been hatching/raising chickens she knows what she is doing. I also figured if she thought too cold some sort of heat would be in there. Too much time, energy, and feed to just throw them out in the cold, if they were not ready.. Glad Shadow and the bull calf are doing well and Mommas are doing a good job raising them.

Gary and Cassie, I have been with you guys literally since you started your channel. In fact I remember when you guys were on Dutch's channel before you guys started your own and I can ssee why he encouraged you guys to start a channel.
God says to give honor where honor is due, and I want to to just that.
