The Letshuoer S12 Pro is one of the best Planar earphones I have ever had the pleasure to review and it shows just how far the audio hobby has come.
In this “sport” people like to downplay brilliance but at this point, the cat is out of the bag on Planar technology and it isn't going to go back in. The S12 Pro strikes a stunning ground that fills one of the small holes left by the competition. They have the ability to go lower delivering fuller bass but sacrificing very little in other areas.
In this video we discuss the earphones themselves but also include comparisons to other top models at different price points.
The Thieaudio Oracle Mk ii can not really be considered a successor to the original Oracle because the tuning differs so dramatically. In fact, this earphone is tuned far more similar to the incredible Monarch MKii.
In my eyes, this is a controversial decision because it muddies the naming scheme but in reality, it gives people access to elements of a far more expensive earphone for a fraction of the price.
If we set the naming scheme aside and evaluate this earphone on its own without comparison to the original we have another great earphone for the money and one of the best tribrids for the price if you like more low-end weight.
