The biggest issue is it's a bunch of stuff designed to stop HEAT rounds only, and it does so only once. So in Chechnya they just shot volley's of RPG's at them, the first sets off the reactive explosive armor, the second volley tears into the tank. Also like most Russian tanks and planes on paper they look good, but once they roll off the assembly line they are a hot mess.

Shoot turret sides closer to it's back, if you can make angle from center projection of turret to it's back - do it, it will penetrate protective screen between ammo and crew igniting ammo at the same time, best to do from left side of turret, long story short.
I wouldn't worry about it, the Russian tanks would probably either break down or run out of fuel before it makes it to my neck of the woods.

Shooting any tank from the side just under the turret - will destroy every tanks, not only soviet/russian design ones.
The answer is extremly, extremly simple; buy one Javelin or one Nlaw.

Step two, get into contact with the US military
Step three, find out you still don't have enough money to pay for the weapons system

Trust is, if you need a RUclips video to tell you how to fight a tank - you should probably pick something else to fight (and leave the tank to the professionals). But interesting video indeed.
As if soldiers actually watch this lmao, they know much better than this guy.
For the t14 armata. Just shoot any mind of shell at the turret. I'm not doubting its protection but its going to have mechanical parts and a 120mm he will damage those parts. Apfsds will likely break the auto loading mechanism all together
Plus, how many of them do they even have? A dozen?
@@richarddoig1865 Do they even run?
To shoot T14 you first need to find one on the battlefield, which, let's be frank, is unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Who knew a 19 year old with strong arms would be a better way to rack rounds. Almost like keeping your ammunition in a spot most likely to get hit wasn't the smartest idea. XD
Thx bro, now we can say that this video became more useful than before.
or, drop a Javelin missile on them... cook them top down, forget about pinpoint aiming between plates of armor
The best tactic instead of destroying them: Just place a thousand or more vodka bottles near the roads they use, and the crews will drink themselves to death.
Good luck hitting those 'weak spots' when a Russian tank is coming at you at 50 km/h and maneuvering with its coaxial MG firing and it's main gun aimed at you. If modern Russian tank doctrine is anything like that of the Soviet era, infantry in dug out positions will be hammered by massive artillery bombardment first (so the guy having to fire the RPG or recoilless rocket launcher will have some degree of shell shock for certain) followed by a massive tank and mechanized infantry push (they are not likely to come in peacemeal numbers), maybe even supported by attack- and gunship helicopters (Mi-17, Mi-24, etc) taking out strengthened positions if required.
I know, this all not very likely, but as a former AT-gunner in a NATO army back in the 1980ies, I have got a slight impression of how that might be like. Our survival in such a scenario was estimated in seconds rather than minutes or hours.
Don't forget that Iraqi forces completely misused their Soviet tanks at the time, dug in in fixed positions when its main strength is mobility.
Yep, but an ambushing platoon will be able to fire several AT-weapons from several directions, and as far as I know an ERA exploding on the turret will temporarily hinder the tanks ability to mow down infantry thanks to the shock and smoke
Bring the fight to the urban area, helicopters and artillery are less effective there, so are tanks. You can't kill what you can't see, in the urban area, enemy's infantry could be anywhere. Also, a tank with ERA and hard-kill system can endangers its own infantry.
@Dika Vinci not necessarily, and there are more buildings than 120-125mm shells
@Dika Vinci
You have to know that something's out there in the first place. Also, enemies can be higher than the tank's gun elevation allowed.
Well, good thing it's 2020 and fire control computers have advanced to the point that hitting a T-90 tank's weak spot while traveling at 30 mph isn't an impossible feat.
A T-90 was spotted being transported in the US yesterday, so I'd say it's safe to say the US can train against it's speed and maneuverability.
Also, a Mi-17 was just shot down by rebles in Syria.

1. Show the tank both middle fingers as it bumbles through your street without any infantry cover, apparent tactics, or situational awareness.
2. Wait for the supply convoy to roll through on flat tires.
3. Shoot the fuel-trucks.
4. Call your buddy Yuri and tell him to bring his tractor so you can haul off your new tank that is now stuck somewhere in the middle of a field.
5. Drag the tank to the underground factory so it can be incorporated in the giant Zelenski GunDam you and your buddies have been building.
6. Make sure to meme about it for extra points.
