In opinion this is the most beautiful lied singing. Lied singer doesn't have to be colorless, cold and only head-voice like most german style (tenor) liedsingers are. Kaufmann has spectrum, a lot of vocal facilities to interpret and i think he makes it with style

This concert was in Moscow, in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Jonas Kaufmann is a pure German Bavarian (from Bavaria). He studied singing first in Germany ..Many thanks for your comment!

Well touching - but I thought he is German. His pronounciation sounds as if an American is trying to speak german. (Where was the concert? Perhaps he wanted to be familiar to the public...)
