    That one termite: wait our can queen can fly without wings 😮😮😮

    • @sengendosimeonbuzima
      @sengendosimeonbuzima  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, queen termites do have wings, at least initially. When young termite queens and kings are ready to start a new colony, they engage in a nuptial flight. During this flight, they leave their current colony, mate in the air, and then land to establish a new colony.
      After this flight and mating, the queen termite breaks off her wings because she no longer needs them. Once she has found a suitable location for the new colony, she settles down, becomes the reproductive queen of the colony, and starts laying eggs. From that point on, she is wingless, as are the king and other termites in the established colony.Do appreciate your precious time 🙌

      Termites belong to the order Blattodea,which also includes cockroaches.Both groups share a common ancestor making them evolutionary relatives.While termites and cockroaches differ significantly in behavior and habitat,their genetic and anatomical similarities reflect their shared lineage.This relationship has been supported by molecular studies and is a relatively recent understanding in entomology.I Didnt know all this,Do appreciate your precious time & thank you🙌

      Eating queen termites is a tradition in many cultures due to their high nutritional value. They are rich in protein, fats, and essential nutrients. Additionally, termites are a sustainable food source, requiring fewer resources than traditional livestock. Yes,they do deliver a hell of a bite,but when taking care of the stomach, one tends to ignore certain issues.well behind nice things, alot of hard work is hidden.Thanks for your time 🙏

      Ah,you've caught me indulging in the Queen Termite!If you want to experience something similar,I suggest you book a spot in advance.But this time,not at the usual spots-I'm talking about a more off-the-grid homestead experience.You'll want to plan early for that,just like you would for Boma.Do appreciate your precious time 😉

    Someone should tell them how much money you can make of them over seas they use termites in the reptile trade people even keep them as pets but to each is own but I personally think this guy would be happier with money and a steak but like I said I to each is own.
