It's very country dependant, the big 3 in Australia are all pretty competitive but McDonald's has pretty good onions and kfc is pretty greasy, plus I don't like Pepsi as much as coca cola
I moved to Saudi Arabia 2 years ago and the Burger King is definitely better than the one in Scotland. The chips/fries have less salt on them (which I like) and it tastes so much fresher .
My theory is that the beef most likely has to be halal so it’s probably not as mass manufactured as it is in the us? That’s at least my theory for trying to make since of it

I like Burger King in America. it’s really good when they care about their job and do things right, I’ve worked at Burger King and nobody switches the patties out when they’re supposed to make more they just leave them until they’re all sold. I agree, as a child I would always go to burger king in Canada, and honestly having it now I realized that it really wasn't that good. A few years ago I went to New Zealand and had burger king at the airport and it was 10x better its honestly insane
Fast food outside the us is usually better (especially in developing countries) because most establishments are newly made and the franchisee selection is a lot more thorough.

The trick is to order something that doesn’t sit in their heat drawer…places like that “sandbag” popular/cheap options….like a plain cheeseburger at McDonalds…that patty has been sitting in that drawer for a minute. You want to order something you have to pull off to the side for lol Also I never do…but I’d imagine you can ask for fresh/crispy fries….because they sandbag those too…..that’s why they can be hit or miss they cook too many and instead of throwing them out or reheating them they just hand them over because they’re job sucks lol
Burger King here in Singapore are better than McDonald's. Their meat are grilled on the spot and are juicier. The fries aren't soggy and aren't oily. Sauce isn't too overpowering either.

A lot if chains are way better overseas. Some countries actually require a degree to work at them so it's actually competitive compared to the states which keeps the standards high.
Hardee's in Dubai is the best burger I've tried, hands down. No wagyu, no fancy shirt, no overpriced meat, etc. just a good old, classic cheese steak 😋.
