Ah, the GeN2 mods. I generally prefer these over actual GeN2s because you can keep your old lift car which is always better than the flimsy box called "GeN2 lift car". Of course it's kinda weird to see this kind of setup for the first time but I've come across these a few times already.
Oh this grotty gen 2 mod, I have also been to the motor room of this lift it is stupid to have such a little motor in a motor room I think they should of replaced the older lift to make it MRL
When i got up there i was like um wtf 🤣 i was not expecting them to of used that type of set up there im not to keen on that type of set up looks like headache to work on i wounder how long them belt even last
I've never seen a motor like that before. Looks more like a treadmill than a lift motor. Great video, as usual. ❤️
Haha a treadmill 😂😂

Given that gen2s are typically MRLs, I assume this gen 2 is a replacement for a much older lift where the motor was too large to be housed in a shaft

I’ve a feeling that the motor was supposed to be located in the shaft, but it is possible that the shaft didn’t have enough room in it for the motor
Probs not enough head room for eye bolts or steels to be used to lift motor and guides up.
Can I use the motor sounds for Skyscrapersim's first Otis Gen3?
Yh buddy
@@KIRBZVIDS thanks. It's to mod a hydraulic.
