Sevendust is such an awesome band n the most down to earth bunch of guys you can ever meet.they are definitely one of my favorite bands.7D Fuckin rules
Ever heard a song you used to play the breaks off of when it first came out, you wait a few years, rediscover it and the cycle begins again? This band...this song is that for me...FEELING SO CORRECTED!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
What can't you? It's on The Scorpion King soundtrack. Last I checked, it can be bought on SEVERAL site online, or the CDs can be bought at most music stores. (some music stores still sell cds, surprisingly) It was also on the Extended version of Animosity, if you can find that one.
This song is soo inspired by Living Colur. Which makes sense since Sevendust says that Living Colur is one of their biggest influences. Wouldn't it be cool if Sevendust did a cover of "Cult Of Personality" but with their own spin on it sound wise? That would "ROCK"! Pun intended of course. LOL!
Ryan Cinch dude ive always said that... Honestly he's such a good vocalist I constantly hear tracks from all genres and think to myself how sevendust could fkn kill it.
At least Living Colour's songwriting isn't mediocre and has eons more meaning than what these guys do, writing about fake anger in approx. 90% of their songs, so, your point is?.....
Maybe they could do both on a Tribute/Compilation album of some sort. Now that would rule! They could even do some Pantera songs like This Love and A New Level. They have covered Walk a couple hundred times and it rocks every time! Sevendust Rules!
Prototypical Sevendust song; Lack of decent songwriting talent, nonsensical lyrics that would even make a rapper cringe, Ham-hocked/ham-fisted fake anger prose, Morgan's trademark (and rather bizarre, I should add) interjection/Gang screaming, Semi-self-pardiocal disconnect between the written word and the sung lyric.....Yep, typical Sevendust song. Even has some of Clint's trademark signature songwriting oddities at the end.
@Fancy Boy No, I don't have a band, but if I did, I would write songs than has eons more meaning that 90% of these guys supposedly write on a constant basis.
Best thing about The Scorpion King.
Nearly two decades later and this song is still a classic hit.
What a badass song. Heavy and melodic with soulful singing.
