- I've been inactive for a while, that's because I wanted to make a Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V AMV, but the battles were too childish, so I let a week without videos slip. Sorry about that.

Am I the only one kinda pissed they cut out all the original female cast from alll the later seasons. I mean New Vestroia is still my favourite season but that change was pretty heavy handed.
honestly, it may be better to watch this amv than the actual episode. This amv is over more quickly and has a pretty good song alongside it. Episode doesn't have much to say anyway.

@Felix Light only ten times better? In my opinion Mechtanium Surge is better milion times then that reboot. MS is my favorite season btw (but only arc 1).

If they ditched the jank pseudo-card game aspect, I feel like this could've been more of a hit. Or if they handled it like Digimon Tamers
The game was pretty cool in season 1. It became hard to follow and unnecessary and lazy in later seasons.
Ashema Bahumat didn't they kid of do that in the last two seasons? At least in the show.

Tanner Lucas we have a Jaden/Judai, a Yuya, why not a Dan? If only his name began with a Yu. I can see him as a Pokémon Trainer as well.

It takes a while for both seasons of the reboot to become better. If you think both seasons are not good, I'm fine with it. I don't think the reboot is too bad, it just seems to pale in comparison to at least the first two seasons of the original.

I have mixed feelings about krakenoid being the main bakugan abubias uses. Really all of them are equal bakugan of him but horridian is his "guardian" bakugan instead of krakenoid.
Just imagine dan would also use taylean and trister alongside drago (which would actually have been pretty cool tbh) but trister is the primary bakugan dan uses.
Then again Fire against Water both being dragons is also really cool to finish of the secondary antagonist instead of the repeated fire against darkness
I NEED to point out that the secondary antagonist of the 2nd season was also pyrus. I so fucking much love Helios and spectra!

@@21alghazal it is Anubias, yes he owns all of the bakugan he used, all members of team Anubias share the same bakugan, but now he is on his own and uses all of them, his main attribute is darkus and his primary bakugan is horridian. Similar to season 1 where they had multiple bakugan but 1 was their primary

Which Bakugan show was this? I'm not sure if this is from Gundalian Invaders or the show after that.
I hate what they have done to bakugan in the reebot, it's true that the series can get pretty strange and convinient some times but in the end they were great, now bakugan it's just a serie of auto conclusive caps when you have to see tons of them to watch the story advance a little bit
The 1st half of MS was my most favorite in this season. However, if the story between Anubias & Sellon were different than what we got, then would you think that:
Anubias would have been the son of Barodias (since he looked like he was old enough to be a dad) who was ment to be the next emperor of Gundalia but couldn't due to what happened in the end of season 3.
Sellon was the middle sister of Fabia & Serina who could have been the next Queen of Nethia but didn't get the chance due to being exiled for a crime she committed.
Well I don't know about you, but what do you think of these alternative origin stories between them?
So much better, but if that was the case then Sellon ace bakugan would be the light one not the wind one, also how would they join mag mel?

i forgot a lot of bakugan, but sounds interesting lol. honestly they should've rebooted the original bakugan with the same art style (more modern) and va's, just tweak the story and characters a bit to elaborate more imo.

Why did people not like mechtanium surge? I enjoyed the season as much as the rest. What was wrong with it? The only problem I had with bakugan in general was that Shun became useless after new vestroia. He had his moments, in gundalian, but not really.
I can’t speak for everyone, but as the original Bakugan series went on I started enjoying it less and less. Mechetanium Surge was pretty good and had a lot of interesting ideas, but flaws that kept piling up from previous series dragged it down for me.
1. The Bakugan designs are so... human, specifically for the main heroes. This is a more general complaint rather than one for this specific season but I hate how Drago has progressively become more humanoid as he evolves, it takes away from the fact that Bakugan are supposed to be awesome monsters. Drago looked freaking awesome in his New Vestroia form, and his evolve form at least kept a dragonish body posture even with his limbs free, but now he looks like a glorified furry. Shun’s new partners suffer this issue as well, it was fine with Ingram because it was something different to Skyress, but now they’re all just ripoffs of Ingram. Which leads me to my next point.
2. Marucho and Shun constantly getting new partners every season, none come close to the development of Skyress/Ingram and Preyas/Elfin, and they always fill the same roles: Shun gets the quiet stoic partner with a ninja ascetic (Hawktor at least was pompous and showboaty, so he’s sort of okay) while Marucho gets the uppity comic relief (every, single, time).
3. All the characters are glossed over to further shine light on Dan and Drago. Mechetanium Surge at least plays with that but overall they get the shaft or less interesting storyline’s than what’s going on with Dan and Drago. And Runo, Julie and Alice are rarely heard from ever, along with the New Vestroia cast in favour of creating new ones each season, which promptly get dropped after. I guess that’s two points, the first being Dan and Drago are always more special than the others without earning it, and the second is that the cast keeps getting changed and less interesting.
4. The battle tech and armour upgrades... this is more of a personal gripe for me but I hate when monster shows do this. It’s such an obvious ploy to sell toys, there is not strategy involved in using them, and it takes away from the Bakugan’s personal abilities. That goes for the giant robots too (the name escapes me right now), Mechetanium Surge made them interesting, but then instead of developing those ones, they kept throwing new ones at the characters! Which brings me to my next point.
5. Evolutions and Power-ups aren’t earned. Remember how hard the brawlers had to work for their evolutions in the first season? Remember the sacrifice Drago had to get the power of the infinity core? There is none of that here, all we ever get is a new mcguffin and boom, Drago has a new evolution. Or they throw battle-gear at them, or (after mechitanium surge at least) they gift them giant robots for no reason. Nothing is earned and the characters don’t develop.
6. The battles are so much less interesting, starting from Mechatanium Surge going onward. They don’t follow any of the previously established game rules and each battle subjects everyone to screaming “ability activate!” Over and over and over again. The ability cards are glorified special attacks with no game changing effects beyond that, and gate cards became completely obsolete. The only thing I like is that the Bakugan can move freely in the battlefield, but beyond that the battles got completely lack lustre for me.
Okay, that’s it. Sorry for the rant, but hopefully that provides some examples as to why people think the series went gone down hill, possibly starting with Mechatanium Surge. But hey, this is just my opinion, don’t let it detract from your enjoyment of the show.

Daithi Dowling it is still the same idea, you are trainer and have battles with bakugan, u say the move to the bakugan and they do it, it doesn’t matter they are bigger or stronger. For example my dad is bigger than me and stronger he is still a human, bakugan are beast that do the same that u r master tells, they copied the idea of Pokémon but they made bakugan much stronger and look different.
