Right!! Alice, Runo and Julie were my FAVSS but they got paid dust after season 1 then they were pretty much forgotten after New Vestroia. They continued the focus to be Dan and drago like i got so sick of seeing those two all the time 😭 Alice and Hydranoid were an awesome duo they deserved so much better
Birds Champs they were hardly assets to the team anymore though, Runo, Julie and Alice battled ONCE in season two, after that Alice was forgotten, Julie did jacksh*t in all the seasons, and obviously Runo made no appearance in the third series but then, same as Julie, worked on the sidelines in the last series because the writers decided to write them off as battlers likee...Alice hardly even got a chance to show her potential as a darkes brawler and i LOVED that her partner was Alpha Hydranoid and even then , she couldn’t even win against Shadow even though she had a extremely powerful bakugan who is 2x evolved??? Made no sense to me so yeah

She could've easily become one of the main characters aside from just shun and marucho considering she is a tactical genius. If they keep her as one of the main, or at least a recurring supporting character, the show wouldn't have been so bad. It was clear the writers were intentionally trying to end her by making her look so damn weak and unable to redeem herself.

Notice how almost every other season 1 main Bakugan had their power level increased from 400/450 Gs to 500 Gs (Tigrerra, Preyas, Gorem), but Hydranoid’s G power went DOWN instead, from. 550 to 500 Gs? If they had just increased Hydranoid’s G power to 600, Alice would’ve won. She and Chan-Lee dropped Shadow’s life gage to 100 Gs left, and that was only because Hydranoid had 500 Gs, not 600 or even 550.

And in the third season, when Dan moves to another neighbourhood and somehow Shun and Marucho follow, Julie decides to move as well but instead of her being a brawler, she’s quit Bakugan and instead some random teen that is never seen after the season is done (Jake) takes her place?

The new Bakugan is ok, I don't like Dan's voice actor. They add a lot more jokes for no reason. And in the original, Dan and Drago become partners because they had similar goals, but they couldn't get along. Then they realized that they need to set aside their differences, and become friends. And they become friends in the span of the first season. For the reboot, Drago sees Dan and they become partners without any reason, and Dan is willing to risk a lot of things for Drago, but they never explain why. So yea, you right. :)

They did the best thing. I love when villains from first season, come back and fight new villains. In any show. I just love when it’s happening.
