The thing with MAC Spider pissed me off greatly. Like the only moment Hydranoid had in NV(by destroying Hades), like the only closest thing that could kind of heal that humiliation from being turned into a statue and needing to be rescued(and thus unable to fight off the invaders. And effectively been replaced..) And that moment gets ruined by MAC Spider happening and one-shotting(I think it was a one-shotting) Hydranoid(and effectively humiliating him), like.. why writers, WHY. Doesn't help that Hydranoid didn't destroy Hades ON HIS OWN(Chan and Fourtress should of stayed out of it), thus lowering the impact of his achievement..
its not hydranoids fault its alice, had it been masqurade he would have crushed him easily, furthermore they nerfed hydranoid from 550g to 500 when hes a 3 evolution meaning he should be much higher

You know, I'm gonna say something a bit bold: they shouldn't have made Ace and instead had Alice come along to New Vestroia with the boys. While I can reluctantly agree that Runo & Julie had their arcs concluded and weren't all that interesting, that cannot be said for Alice; who was pretty much season 1's Kaiba, and there were dozens of ways to take her character at that point. Ace meanwhile, was just not interesting and was a cruddy replacement for Masquerade alone, let alone Alice spending an extended period coming to terms with being Masquerade. Plus we could've gotten more Hydranoid upgrades if he remained a mainstay like Drago. Instead we got this, which while...fun, I suppose...was also the last time we had Bakugan's original rival battle and she lost. For Pete's sake they brought back both Spectra and Barodius with way more dignity because they realized how cool they were, and they were still less interesting that Alice.
Yeah, hated that Hydranoid wasn't brought back in MS and buffed there. Heck, the last we saw of Hydranoid is him losing and in MS where he ends up dying. He got a crappy sendoff here..
Alice was my favorite character in the show, she had such an interesting character. The epsidoes centered around her were way more interesting than the ones centered around Ace.
